Ferrari F50 - The Super Rare Supercar
The Ferrari F50 was the successor to the Ferrari F40 supercar. It featured a 60 valve V12 engine that had been derived from an engine used in a Ferrari Formula One car. Though the F50 was made from 1995 until 1997, only 349 of these cars were sold in total, making them very rare. At least of a few of them have been crashed, so you can figure that there might be only about 320 F50's left in original condition in the world today.
There was a performance variant of the Ferrari F50 called the F50 GT, not that the stock car lacked anything in the performance department. These 50th anniversary Ferrari supercars sold for about $500,000 when new, and can still fetch that price 10 years later. Ferrari would not make another supercar until the Ferrari Enzo.
