The Festival of the Lion King is an indoor theatrical pageant with stirring music, energetic dances and exotic costumes, highlighted by acrobatic "monkeys" and flying "birds." Presented throughout the day at Disney's Animal Kingdom, the Festival is one of two live shows at Camp Minnie-Mickey and is about 30 minutes long.

Getting a Seat

This show is very popular, so arrive at least 15 minutes before show time if you want to be guaranteed a seat. The queue (waiting area) is a long, winding path so it can be quite warm during summer months. If you don't mind taking any available seat, you can sometimes slip in at the last minute. Look for cast members directly guests into the theater!

Be prepared for some fun! Each of the four seating areas - which are bleachers without back supports - is assigned to one of the show characters. You could be a giraffe, warthog, lion or elephant.
