Fix It Again Tony ! No longer a laughing matter in North America Fiat returns with authority as Fiat-Chrysler deal has happened. Chrysler has no good small cars in its line and several agile and economical sporty Italian cars will soon be on the roads in North America. The return of Fiat to USA and Canada is fianlly here ! Its been a long time since the Spyder and the glory days of Fiats first run in North America. The old Fiat 500 was a collectible but is still seen on the streets of Europe ,we missed out on the Fiat 500 but the new sporty Fiat 500 will soon be a common site on our roads! Lets hope the Abarth version will come to Canada and the USA. Even now Forbes magazine insists that Americans will not drive a "cute" small cars while in same breath admiting they dont have people buying thier Dinosaurs. Talk about entrenched thinking ,wait till you see that writer stuck in your rear view mirror or at the gas pump in his Chrysler Concorde. Fiat Returns !

Fiat Chrysler

Globe and Mail Report on Fiat/Chrysler
"Fiat is the new owner of most of Chrysler's assets, closing a deal Wednesday that saves the troubled U.S. auto maker from liquidation and places a new company in the hands of Fiat's CEO."
Business Week Fiat Chrysler
"For the third time in 11 years, Chrysler is bracing for the vagaries of new ownership. First it was the Germans, then the private equity guys, now the Italians. Many executives who watched Marchionne that day express relief that he and Fiat (FIA.MI) want to revive an automaker many had given up for dead. On the other hand, they have heard about the new boss' operating style. Marchionne, who declined to comment, demands teamwork while pitting divisions against each other"
Forbes Fiat Chrysler
If American Chrysler is to have a future with Italian automaker Fiat, it's about time for Sergio Marchionne, the chief executive of both companies, to speak out. If there's a plan, he should explain what it is, how it will work, what the goals are and where the money for new products will come from.
