- I have CFS (ME) and I've been doing karate for years. My sensei has always been amazing and let's me go at my own pace when I need too. I'm missing it so much at the moment (just come out of hospital with an extensive DVT and bound to crutches) but planning to go back this week to watch the class. Congrats on such an inspiring lens.

- I recently thought I might have Fibromyalgia - I gained a new understanding for the those suffering Chronic Pain. However, it turned out that I didn't have Fibromyalgia. I wrote a lens about my experience. Click the title to read about it! Fibromyalgia or Chronic Mild Acidosis

- I'm a doctor and a patient and totally believe that fibromyalgia is linked to depression and exercise is a natural antidepressant. I just made a lens about exercise and depression! Great lens:)

- I found out I have Fibro after being in a TaeKwonDo class. I guess I push myself too hard. I was perspiring like mad, my knees kept slipping out of joint, and I was just too exhausted to do it. I bought a knee support, thinking that was all I needed, but it was so painful to even put that thing on, so I returned it to the store. Now that I know what I'm dealing with, the taekwondo was much too hard on me, because I'm not a person who can just go halfway, I'm competitive. I wanted to keep up with everyone in the class, and if I can't it stresses me a bit. So now I just walk my dog as much as I can and I keep moving. I made a Squidoo lens today about massage tools for Fibro, if you care to link it < a href="http://www.squidoo.com/massage-tools-for-fibromyalgia">Massage Tools for Fibromyalgia http://www.squidoo.com/massage-tools-for-fibromyalgia and thank you for having a page on Squidoo that is from the heart and isn't a get-rich-quick-scheme like several I came across before finding yours.

- I agree that mental training comes before physical. I hope that you can deal with Fibromyalgia like some of the sufferers of defective DePuy Pinnacle Hip Replacement.

- Fibromyalgia is a condition of contradictions isn't it? I've been in a bad flare for a few weeks now, and exercise is tough to think about when everything hurts... but it really does make you feel better. I live in a very small town and classes are hard to come by but I truly enjoy a nice walk. I see you have also mastered humor, which is another essential fibro management skill. - Excellent lens! My fibro isn't nearly as bad as yours, but I have advancing age and arthritis to add to it, so I'm very familiar with the daily struggle to keep going.

- Great lens! Putting great content together (artfully) will surely help somebody with a similar condition, personally or in the family. Your comment "How do I get up off the floor" made me think of a Feldenkrais class I took which helps a person figure out how their body moves. Thanks for your lens!
