Bookworm Alert!

I am such a bookworm, I'll read practically anything and everything apart from horror - I have enough nightmares on my own without any help!

Usually I have several books on the go, always one fiction book whether it's romantic chick lit, a crime novel, a classic or anything else and then a few self-help books as well!

I love to curl up in a chair with a book I can't put down and wish it will never end, exploring new places and getting to know new people! I don't really understand people who don't like to read... They are missing out on soooo much, wouldn't you agree?!

In this lense I want to share with you some (please note the some - If I had to list all of my favorites I would need a book of my own!) of my favorite fiction books. There's quite a range - something for you fellow bookworm guys and gals ranging from chicklit to crime and classics and everything inbetween.

Chick Lit - Books for Her!

Are you a romance and chick-lit lover? Me too!

I would recommend you read all of Barbara Taylor-Bradfords books as well as Maeve Binchey's and if you can get hold of them, Fiona FForde's books - She doesn't appear to be on Amazon USA at this time though.

Below are a few of my favorite chick lit books... the ones I read over and over and wish would never end!

Crime, Thrillers and Mystery

So the lovey dovey chick lit stuff can get a bit much over time... That's when I pick up something (anything!) by Jeffrey Archer, Dick Frances, Dan Brown, Clive Cussler, John Grisham or grab one of my old favorites from below....

Classics

I have read some of the classics but usually I find them hard going... However there was one book that I thoroughly enjoyed and didn't find it hard to follow at all - Three Men in a Boat.... If only it were longer!
I also enjoyed The Picture of Dorian Grey... I haven't seen the film version yet, but if it's anything like other books made into films something will have been spoilt along the way!

    Without books, the world would starve. Every book had a lesson.We can read it for instruction or entertainment. It can provide knowledge to all ages and education levels.You share a nice lens with Best Books Directory team.
