The Reader Review
This lens is about a couple of mystery books that I have read and would recommend to others. I also added a book that I would not recommend. My hope is to help you pick a fiction novel that will stimulate your mind and soul.
M is for Malice by Sue Grafton
Book Review
Sue Grafton's creation M is for Malice is a fast paced moving novel starring the famous P.I. Kinsey Millhone. This is an enjoyable quick read. This novel shows the vulnerable side of Kinsey. Most Sue Grafton fans know Kinsey is smart, independent, and fearless. Yet, this novel displays that this independent woman has needs and desires like any other female. In this case, Kinsey is hired by a relative to find a long lost family member of a rich Santa Teresa family. Events take a turn for the worst and it is up to Kinsey to expose a liar, a thief, and a murderer.
I would love to tell you more, but I don't want to spoil the book for you. If you have already read this novel please post your opinion on this lens (if your opinion includes spoilers please note that in the beginning so readers who have not read the book will not be upset). I would love to know what you think.
S is for Silence
Fiction Book Review
I must say the book S is for Silence by Sue Grafton was a cheerless read. This novel is not one of my favorites from the alphabet series. The plot was interesting enough to keep you reading, but as a whole the book fell flat.
In my humble opinion, writing a story this involved with multiple characters who had issues and back stories of their own in the first person was too much for a reader to digest. What was really bad was the ending. The culprit's motive was not clear and was never explained. Sadly, I have to give this book 2.5 stars.
I know that an author can't write a great novel every single time. This review is not meant to bash the author. It's just a review of a book based on my opinion.
However, if you still want to check out other reviews on this book or purchase this novel the link is below.

T is for Terrific!
Mystery Book Review
The latest Sue Grafton book, T is for Trespass is great. The story is about a crooked caregiver who steals from her employers. Kinsey Millhone has met her match in this intriguing novel. This detestable villainess gives Kinsey a run for her money at every turn. The feminine devil places Kinsey and everyone she loves in peril. I give this book 5 stars. Reader Feedback
