Fight Club, Get Ready To Be Mind blown
This is about my favourite movie of all time, Fight Club. What is there not love about this movie? A man ditching the steriotypical lifestyle to start fighting other men with their shirts off for fun. If you haven't seen the movie yet, don't worry there won't be any spoilers in here but I would like to say your insane for not yet having seen this movie.

Fight Club is a Mind****
So why do I love Fight Club so much? Well it's a mix really. The idea of leaving what you think is all you have for nothing appeals to the sense of the viewer in a strange and curious way. It takes us from a place of what we think is comfort and turns it on it's head to make us look at life in a different point of view.Fight club takes us away from the whole idea of neo-consumerism with a bad ass like Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt). It is through his antics and sometimes cruel activities that we see life through his eyes. Fight club really makes you think about what life would be like, not surrounded by the need to have a bigger T.V or an impressive house with a trophy wife to boot. Instead the movie leaves us with the sense of what it would be like to throw it away and live life with no worries.
It's All Just A Build Up
So the movie does seem tedious at times. Lots of monologuing from the narrator some may call Jack after his musings from the magazines in Tyler's dilapidated house and thoughts on the currents situations, but these are all just a build up to the final climactic minutes of the film. I have talked to people who have turned off the movie and refused to watch as they can't see the point of where the movie is leading to.I would just like to say that you have to watch the movie in a whole to really see the point in it. It's really hard not to put spoilers into this as it's really what ties the movie into itself in one great epiphany. All his random soap making, night jobs and penis splicing into child's films is all necessary to his antics and mischief, it's only revealed as I have said at the end to which all these crazy and awesome stunts are made clear to you.
The Conclusion, Mind Blown!
*booom*
Fear not, this isn't the spoiler section. It's just a tie up of my favourite movie of all time.So through the movie we see Tyler stealing fat, burning holes into peoples hands using acid and terrorizing random shop keepers all in the pursuit of a life realisation he calls enlightenment. It is this epiphany I think we as the viewer can relate to. most of us live life following what 'the man' says is right for us.
It is this movie where that sets the whole idea of conforming to the average lifestyle aside and looks for a greater life in smaller and less physical things. It's this coupled with the awesome mind**** at the end that left me feeling like I just saw the best movie of all time. Of course I will probably see better one's in time to come. But as of now. Fight Club is my favourite movie.
Real Life Fight Club
Well after seeing this movie many people decided to "search for enlightenment" and start following the activities of the notorious Tyler Durden, starting fight clubs and mimicking the stunts of the actors in the movie. The movie spurred a whole lot of fight clubs all around the globe with people fighting each other just like that of the movie.
I know for one that people even at my school tried starting a fight club. It was only when they realised fighting really hurted and giving up on the modern advancements of society was a complete and utter silly idea that they stopped giving each other knuckle sandwhiches for "fun." It did show some funny battle scars in people less intelligent to actually start fighting other people though.

Brad Pitt or Edward Norton?
I personally loved them both. What about you?
