Figure Skating Videos of the Best Figure Skaters Ever!
This lens is for all who have loved figure skating for a long time!
I started skating in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada at the age of 5 and have been in love with it ever since. When I was 15, my family moved to Oshawa, Ontario where I had the privilege of skating with pairs skater Barb Underhill, and seeing her perform her first lift with then partner, Jim Sorochan. We shared the same coach, Anna Forder. The highlight of my skating life was seeing Barb and partner Paul Martini win the World Championships in Ottawa in 1984. I still have the piece of paper where I wrote down their marks to try to figure out quickly if they had won. Barb and Paul entered the Figure Skating Hall of Fame this year! They are pictured to your left. This is from Blades on Ice '95.

- I couldn't vote for anybody but Torvill and Dean. Again, like John Curry, the introduced something different into ice skating to the extent that people who weren't normally interested, watched them skate.

My Favorite Tour
For ten years in a row as my kids were growing up, I attended Stars on Ice in Indianapolis. Then, they stopped coming here! I was able to attend another show in Toronto a few years later, but still miss seeing this great show live. For many years, Scott Hamilton and Kurt Browning were the stars of the show. Pictured to the right are Jamie Sale and David Pelletier from a Stars on Ice show in Toronto.
The tour usually begins around December and goes on into April. Find out more about this great tour here.

- We were given tickets to the 1990 World Figure Skating Championships in Halifax. My boss' son had to educate me about the world of skating (in a hurry) and I will never forget our experience! Nicely done & blessed.
