Example : If a Fijit Friend is watching a webisode, she might suddenly say: "Hey, I like this show!", start laughing when a character tells a joke or start dancing with the characters on the screen.

I guess the price difference is due to the fact that the robo-dolls are manufactured in the US and will be launched first there. Plus the recent announcement by Tesco that these toys will be the best sellers during Christmas 2011. That must have resulted in some pubic interest.

It makes sense to buy these Squishy Robots from Amazon.com and then sell them through bidding sites in the United Kingdom. Only if you can get a good number at Amazon prices :)
