SCRIPT BREAKDOWN AND FILM SCHEDULING
Film Scheduling Services of Peter D. Marshall
A properly designed shooting schedule is fundamental to your budgeting process. Without an experienced Assistant Director to prepare this board, you will create an unrealistic budget which will have a negative impact on your entire production.
I have worked in the Film and Television Industry for over 33 years - 20 years as a First Assistant Director. If you are interested in using my skills as an Assistant Director to break down your script and prepare a realistic film schedule for your project, these are the services I provide:
1) once I have received your script (hard copy or email), I will contact you to discuss the following production information:
* total main unit shooting days
* total second unit shooting days
* production start date (shooting months)
* main shooting location (city)
* distant locations (cities, countries)
* stage locations
* practical locations
* weather cover scenes
* who are the lead actors
* number of SAG actors
* actor conflict dates
* visual effects scenes
* stunts scenes
* Day-for-Night possibilities
* shooting HD video or film
* child actors, animals etc
2) I will number and breakdown the script
3) I will prepare a film schedule (one-liner) on Movie Magic
4) I will prepare an actor Day-Out-of-Days
5) I will email you the completed schedule in Movie Magic and in PDF
6) I will email you the Day-Out-of-Days in PDF
7) I will also supply sunrise/sunset tables for your city locations and dates
8) I will also email you my scheduling comments
