- Good subject but I prefer water straight from the tap. The only time I filtered it was after the devastating fires that ravaged the cathments and killed a lot of wildlife around the dams. Blessed and featured on Blessed by Skiesgreen 2012. Hugs

- Very helpful and informative lens about filtering water. We use brita as a water purifier. And we also have a filter for the fridge.

- You are right about bottled water. Here in Phnom Penh, a test was conducted between tap water and bottled water and there was really no difference.

- I grew up on well water that need no filtering but city water is a whole different thing and I've used a filter for years. Very nicely done, you certainly have done your research and taken and take a broad approach to all that must be considered.

- We've tried a few water filtration systems on our kitchen sink, but are now using a Brita for drinking water. We also use a filtering showerhead. When we remodel our kitchen we plan to install a filtering system for the entire house. Our pets prefer water from the hose to filtered water. Go figure!

- awesome lens. I personally use the "big berkey System" which is made out of stainless steel, and I love it! I used it for many months in Ecuador without a single problem, and it is still a personal favorite that I highly recommend.

- Fabulous lens... we have a huge water filter that is attached to our cooler that we use... we all need to conserve as much water as we can while drinking clean water for sure :)

- It made me glad I had made the choice to use a countertop water filters for my drinking and cooking water. For drinking it is better than mineral waters.
