Review of Lighting "Kai" Play Arts Action Figure
Standing 9" tall, this action figure of Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII has the same electric, formidable presence as the in-game character. It should, since all the "Kai" Play Arts figures are taken directly from their in-game 3D models.
The large size of the Kai FFXIII figures allows for greater details. Lightning is also quite flexible, as you'll see in the video review below: you can position her in most action poses, thanks to new features like double-jointed knees.
She comes with a second swappable pair of hands for gripping weapons or gesturing. Her gunblade accessory fits into her back-holster if you flip down the trigger. An alternate blade-open version of the weapon lets you pose her for hand-to-hand combat.
Sorry, no clues on exactly where her hidden L'Cie brand is, although we can guess.

Japanese Import: Lightning's new costume in FFXIII-2
First impression: hair greatly improved (on the figure, I mean). Apparently Lightning consulted with Fran for the bondage plate mail, Rinoa for the white feathers ensemble, and Yuna for the WTF half-skirt to upgrade her military hardware. Oh, Nomura, why are you so...so...anime?! (Or is it really a Nomura design? I'm not sure...needs more belts...)
