The oddball Final Fantasy
Last edited: June 10. Added more tips, fixed Mushroom Forest and Mine of Cathuridges maps to include multiple cycles. Added an artifact list. It's still in progress but all of the artifacts are indeed listed.
About The Game
A dungeon-style RPG
About

You get to take control of a character whose job is to find Myrrh [a substance that keeps everyone alive by protecting them from the world's poisonous miasma]in order to refill your town's Crystal.
It is up to you to gather a "drop" of myrrh from 3 dungeons each year.
Characters
There are no specific characters set. You are your own character. You will choose if you are a male or female; you will choose one of the four races of people from this world; you will choose your family's trade - which will help you get stuff.
Clavats
This is the most balanced race of them all. They have decent stats, decent magic foucs, decent focus attacks. I would highly recommend this class for your first time playing.
They use Swords and Shields for equipment.
Starting Stats:
HP: 8
Strength: 6
Defense: 7
Magic: 13
Lilties
The strong characters. They have a lot of strength in their tiny bodies. If you like to attack and wish to throw magic, defense, and special attacks aside and just blast in, these little guys are your best choice.
They use Spears and Gloves for equipment.
Starting Stats:
HP: 8
Strength: 8
Defense: 8
Magic: 10
Yukes
The magic characters. They take a lot less time to cast spells and their magic is very strong. So what if they're not that great in attack?
They use Hammers and Helms.
Starting Stats:
HP: 8
Strength: 5
Defense: 5
Magic: 15
Selkies
My personal favorites even if they are kind of weak in stats. Why? Focus attacks. These are special attacks you do by holding the A button and then you cast them on your enemy (think attack+magic). These are great because you don't need to have a magic item in order to use them, and they're very strong attacks - and very useful when you're facing bosses that are actually as strong as your are. Well these Selkies can cast Focus attacks a lot faster than anyone else. Also they're uber cute.
They use Rackets and Belts.
Starting Stats:
HP: 8
Strength: 7
Defense: 6
Magic: 12
Some Advice
Useful Info
When you beat an active [green tree] dungeon, you put it into a Cycle. It won't change cycles until the next time it is activated - in 2 game years. Each cycle gives different artifacts and monster levels so don't rush through. Take advantage of when the dungeons are inactivated. Once your reach the 3d cycle you can never go back.
River Belle Path is the shortest dungeon. Beat if 5-6 times in order to get a lot of Artifacts.
There are no "levels" in this game. Your stats are based on the artifacts you gather
Find out which items your race/gender can get ahead of time. That way you'll know which monster loot to keep and which to sell.
If you need space, just destroy your food items. Most of the time, you won't need them as long as you have a Cure magicite[item you hold that gives you magic].
Don't throw away magicite right away. There are some dungeons where certain magicites will be required for you to beat the dungeon.
Eating fruit, fish and meat doesn't just heal you. If you like something your stats grow, if you don't like something you stats most weaken.
You can like an item more by eating more of it.
Fish and Meat give 2 strength. Guard Potato, Star Carrot, and Round Corn increase defense by two. Striped Apples, Rainbow Grapes, and Cherry Cluster increase magic by 2.
Magicite
You can put 2 or 3 magicite next to each other (in your command slots) in order to combine them. This is why Artifacts that give you extra slots are so important!
Fira : Fire + Fire
Firaga : Fire + Fire + Fire
Blizzara : Blizzard + Blizzard
Blizzaga : Blizzard + Blizzard + Blizzard
Thundara : Thunder + Thunder
Thundaga : Thunder + Thunder + Thunder
Gravity : Thunder/Fire/Blizzard (use 2 of any of these three). This is GREAT against flying monsters.
Slow : Life + Th/Fi/Bl
Haste : Life + Cure + Cure
Holy : Th/Fi/Bl + Life

My version of a Walkthrough Ver 0.11
Just enough info to get you going, not to make you a "cheater"
Walkthrough
I'm not going to baby you and tell you exactly where to go and every little thing to do against a boss - that just takes the fun out of the game. My version of a "walkthrough" are little tidbits of information that help you decide what to do next.
This means items lists, simple maps, and maybe one or two tips on bosses.
Downloadable lists
Have you ever read a walkthrough and wished you could reorder the information? No? Well I have. There's nothing more annoying than trying to find an item and the way the walkthrough lists the items is different than how I would like to look it up! Heck! Sometimes I don't even agree with myself on how I would like to look things up. If I'm trying to find out what an item does, I'll probably want Alphabetically. If I'm trying to do a checklist, I'd rather the list be in the order the game has it (which in some game is NOT alphabetically). If I'm trying to figure out the best stuff to have, I might want them in order of power, and by type of items. Well that's why I started taking the time to turn those lame walkthrough lists into Excel list. That way I can use the Sort feature and rearrange data myself whenever I want to.
Well here are my lists for this game
Equipment List. I bolded the items I think are best, but maybe you'll disagree.
Artifact List. All of the artifacts and what cycles they can be found on. There are also items that aren't artifact but won through dungeons.
Tipa
This is your home village! Here's a map of where your family is located just in case you don't have the game booklet with you
River Belle Path
This is a nice easy dungeon. No need for tips
Mushroom Forest
Don't delete or ignore the Clear Magicite . It can heal poison and some of the monsters here will inflict poison. Try to use long range attacks on the plants, and try to use up close attacks on the flying monsters. For the boss, I personally ignore its helping monsters but you should kill them at least the first time you go through the boss. Make sure to use Clear. The boss is a Malboro and any Final Fantasy fan knows they have a poison breath.
I have a map available for this dungeon.
Mine of Cathuridges
See that cart? You can (and should) move it by hitting it. However don't hit it too much without looking where it's going! There are two times when you actually have to choose between two paths. Just look at where the block wall is and walk on the switch that leads to it.
Also if you see stairs, don't worry about going up and being strayed from the path. The 2nd floors are really only for monster purposes and result into dead ends so you won't accidentally miss anything if you go up there.
I'll give you a hint: In both times, it's the upper switch.
The boss: Another easy boss however when its health runs low it will glow gold. You should run far away from it and heal - don't worry you have plenty of time. The boss will self-destruct afterwards.
I have a map available for this dungeon.
Moschet Manor
Be careful of monsters that can paralyze you. If two of them gang up on you, they could keep you paralyzed and attack you. You'll die without being able to move. The boss is also rather easy. If you want to take out the boss's wife first, you can, but I prefer to just dodge her spells and keep attacking the boss. Remember: You have to kill all of the Thornberries (the chefs) before the boss will arrive. I have a map available for this dungeon.
Tida
Do NOT throw away Fire Magicite. You will need it to burn down bushes that block access to Stone Key Doors, as well as to burn down green algae-doors that block your path. The boss can easily be defeated with mere brute force, but if you want to use magic Fira is great.
I have a map available for this dungeon.
Some great Swag you might want

Perhaps tips of your own? Perhaps a request for a map I've been too lazy to make? Perhaps just a random comment that's in some way somehow kind of related to this game?
