Lindsey Baum was walking home in McCleary, Washington from a friend's house on Friday, June 26th and never made it home. She was 10 years old at the time, but has since had a birthday while she has been missing. Police are pretty sure she was abducted but have found no proof of this. Please help spread the word about her and please keep her and her family in your prayers.

Tonight, Friday July 25th marks the one month anniversary of Lindsey's disappearance. A candle light vigil will be held in McCleary, Washington at 9:00 PST to light Lindsey's way home. Please say a prayer for her tonight!

Happy Birthday Lindsey!
We are all praying for you to come home to your family.

Love,
Your Friends at Squidoo & eHow

(Lindsey's birthday was on July 7th, She turned 11 years old.)

A Message To My Child

Where could you be, sweet child of mine?
My heart grows heavier with passing time.

No news comes with each waking day
But I can't give up so I continue to pray

that my baby knows the love in my heart
and if my choice, we'd not be apart.

Please come home my little one
for when all is said and all is done

there is no heavier cross to bear
than the loss of a child for whom we care

more than for that of anything else
A love far deeper than that for ourself.

How I Got Involved

Just a quick word about how I got involved in this search for Lindsey. I do not know Lindsey, I live over a thousand miles away in Ohio. I've never even been near Washington state. I write on the site, eHow, where they have a very active forum. You get a chance to know a lot of people if you frequent the eHow forum. On Saturday, there was a post from a woman I knew asking for prayer for Lindsey. That woman is the whose house that Lindsey left from on that night of her disappearance. Being a mother of two wonderful children, I can not imagine anything more horrible. I wanted to help in anyway I could and that way was to help get the word out. I hope you will also help get the word out. It only takes a moment to Twitter this, to Stumble or Digg this page or add something to Facebook or MySpace. Please know, I am not making any money from this page. Any proceeds from this page are going to The Polly Klaas Foundation.
