Finding Someones Email Address

Think it's impossible to look for a lost email? Think again. Looking for a lost email can be tough even if you once had it. Browsing through each email you have received just for that single mail can be time consuming. You will have to go through irrelevant pages until you finally get hold of what you are looking for.

Good thing almost every mail you have received is stored in your mail box, unless you deleted it sometime ago. Google and Yahoo are few of the many engines that provide email services. They provide helpful features that can help you in organizing and filing the emails that you will need in the future. All you need to do is log in to your mailbox and get started. Below are some useful tips to make searching for that email a breeze.

Recall the Sender

This is the first step you have to do in searching for a lost email. You have to remember the person who sent you the email to be able to use that name in looking for the lost email.

Using Your Mail Box

After you have remembered the sender, open you mailbox. Type the person's name on the search mail tab on your mailbox and press enter. You will then be automatically directed to the list of mails you have received from that person. Then, click each mail to find out which specific mail you're looking for.

Using the Keywords

On cases wherein you forgot the name of the sender, you can use keywords to look for that email. Again, on the search tab on your mailbox, type the keyword and press enter. Messages containing that keyword will again appear. Open each email to be sure which among them is the one you are looking for.

Trash

There are also instances wherein the message you have been looking for was once deleted. It's still possible for you to retrieve it. Just type the sender's name or the keyword on your mailbox's search tab. You will then be notified that a deleted message matches your search. You can either view it or go to Trash to delete forever.

Easy option
