Finding a Niche

My first software is still in beta - in fact both are - which means that they offer a lot of value and are still reasonably priced. In beta stage, you also have a say on what can be included in the software and how it is developed with your feedback.

SENuke is my first software. This has a great little feature in the light and full versions which lets you use google keyword tool inside of the software, once you have the list of keywords from google, you just have to press one little button to have it analysed.

Once it's analysed, you have a full list of up to 200 keywords with how easy it would be to compete against them. This ranges from extremely easy to do not bother.

You can then check out the ones that you know have only a little competition and start digging a little deeper with those - this little tool take no more than five minutes to complete. The same amount of work that used to take me around one to two hours.

Although this sounds like a lot of money - the light version is ideal for anyone starting out and the software does a lot more for you than just checking keywords - it will submit to social networks too - which means that you get a hand on building your backlinks and dominating your niche market.

But there is more - having good keywords doesn't mean you will automatically be placed on page one of google - to ensure that you need to know what your competition is!

The second software is Noble Samurai This is once off purchase - which will change the amount of effort you have to put into each campaign in that you will be able to focus your attention on EXACTLY what you need to do in order to get results.

Although you could find these services online elsewhere it's just fantasitc to have this all in one place on one bit of software. This software is also great for double checking your daily searches on a keyword and if you decide to purchase it there are a variety of different promotional tools that are in the making and will be launched sometime soon. This software is also in beta, but there is well worth the money and they are offering a 12 day free test drive.

This software has a great little section about seo competition where you will find out exactly what features on page one of google and what backlinks they have. This will give you the heads up on what you can beat and what is just beyond your abilities without wasting a minute more of your time.

But if you do find that your keyword has volume and low competition and beatable completition and you now want to start dominating - it's time to go back to software #1. That's the one to use to get yourself in the mix.

One of the biggest advantages of having this software is that I don't always know what is popular and selling out there. I also don't always have the best imagination, so when I load a website into my software and it spools out keywords that are not always releveant to the topic and that other people don't want to use because it's not relevant to the product - I'll use it and go out looking for a product to match.

A lot of my products have come from a keyword that I found on a website search that didn't have much to do with the product itself, but that had high volumes of searches, little competition and very beatable competition. The search then begins to find a product to attach to that keyword - working this way can be fun too - don't limit yourself ever - try everything and soon it will happen for you!
