Finding a Niche & Keyword

Autoblogging is a very controversial technique where content is automatically generated to your blog. You are building numerous little niche autoblogs and monetizing them with affiliate products.

There are different opinions on the subject some love it like me and others do not. Many people feel that this way of generating content and drawing people into their sites this way is a Black Hat technique and should not be used.

Although there are several plugins that enable you to generate content to your autoblogs like Autoblog Samurai, the first step is finding your niche. If you choose a niche that is to wide or broad then your competition will be high and your site will not rank as well as other original content sites. Adversely if you are too precise then no one will look for you. Make sure that which ever niche you decide to be in you like it. You will be writing articles and leaving comments on various article sites and blogs to promote your autoblogs.

Now you have decided on your niche the next step in creating a blog site is you need to decide on your keyword or keyword phrase.

How do you find the appropriate keyword for your site? Go to Google AdWords it is free to use and select the Keyword Tool at the top. Enter the keyword or phrase in the search box and look at the number of Global Monthly Searches for the keywords you entered. Ultimately you want to have a range from 2,500 - 2,500,000 to be competitive. The Google Keyword Tool tells you how many times someone has put those words into Google and searched on them. Now click on the word or phrase you would like to use in AdWords. Google will open and under the search box is a number which is the number of times that Google has found that word on the internet.

In trying to decide which product will be the best for your autoblogs make sure you do not pick one that has a very saturated market. You do not want to pick one that everyone else is in because you are then starting out with a lot if competition. You want to try and find a product whose stats are the following:

Initial $/sale - Between $20-$25
Avg %/sale - At least 50%
Gravity - approx 70
Future $ - Reoccurring sales (monthly membership)

Make sure that which ever niche you decide to be in you like it. You will be writing articles and leaving comments on various article sites and blogs to promote your autoblogging site. It is important that although most of your content will be automatically generated through autoblogging software you will want to mix in some original content.

Now you have your niche chosen and your keyword or keyword phrase that ties into your product now you need to set up your autoblogs and start generating content.
