Finding Nemo Movie

The movie breaks into what appears to be a few years later as we find Nemo rushing to wake his dad to take him to his first day at school.
Nemo and Marlin turn up at school for his first day and meet the other kids and their parents, Nemo excited by his first day feels awkward and embarrassed by his dad's constant worrying and the other fish notice Nemo's smaller fin, which was a result of the barracuda attack, Marlin calls this his lucky fin, but eventually their teacher arrives and the class begins and they set out into the ocean after yet again Marlin has embarrassed Nemo by talking to his teacher and telling him Nemo needs extra looking after.

Marlin is then taken aback when the other parents start discussing the kids day and he realises they are heading for the drop off, the point where the neighbourhood finishes and the ocean begins. With panic and terror in his mind Marlin sets off after his son.

Upon reaching the drop off point Marlin discovers some of the fish have detached themselves from the main class and are playing around in the open sea, rushing over to stop Nemo, marlin again goes into over protective mode and Nemo declares he hates his father.

In a bid to show his father his fears of the ocean are unnecessary, Nemo swims out into the open sea and up to a boat, floating nearby. To all the fishes horror as Nemo swims back to the drop off point a scuba diver appears and manages to catch Nemo in a fish net.

In a frantic panic Marlin tries to help Nemo but is disorientated as another scuba diver takes a flash photo of him and the divers manage to get back to the boat and speed off, with Marlin in tow, but he quickly loses sight of the boat...

Not knowing which way to turn Marlin frantically swims towards the bottom of the ocean asking all the passing fish if they have seen a boat go past, in his efforts he bumps into Dory, a fish who says she saw a boat pass and go this way, and sets off with Marlin following thinking that Dory is leading him to the boat, but it doesn't take Marlin long to discover that Dory in fact suffers with short term memory loss and just thinks that Marlin is following her.

Downbeat again Marlin is about to continue his search of finding Nemo when the pair are confronted by Bruce, a shark who wants to invite them both to a get together and won't take no for an answer. Bruce guides the pair back to a sunken submarine surrounded with sea mines and Marlin thinks his time is up.

To his surprise he finds himself in a meeting being chaired by Bruce, with another two sharks present, Anchor and Chum, who all take the pledge of:

"I am a nice shark, not a mindless eating machine, if I am to change this image I must first change myself, fish are friends not food"

The sharks are discussing how to treat fish as friends and the agenda resembles a group therapy meeting where the trio are trying to become better sharks but the session soon dives into chaos as Marlin and Dory find a divers mask which fell overboard from the boat earlier and scuffle over the mask causing Dory to bleed.

Bruce gets a sniff of the blood and suffers a relapse to his ideal of fish are friends not food. What follows is Marlin and Dory swimming for their lives as Bruce declares "I'm having fish tonight"

The pair manage to escape and Marlin discovers that Dory can actually read. The three sharks also have a lucky escape at this point as Bruce throws an old torpedo into the middle of the sea mines causing a spectacular explosion.

While Marlin and Dory are up to their fins in it, Nemo has ended up in a fish tank in a dentist's surgery. The dentist declares he saved Nemo while he was struggling for life out in the reef and plans on giving Nemo to his niece for her upcoming 8th birthday. Nemo meets the other fish in the tank who are all concerned for Nemo as they know how badly the dentist's niece treats fsh and her tendency to kill them by handling them very roughly.

In the commotion Marlin and Dory manage to let the mask fall deeper into the ocean but after some very close encounters with an anglerfish the pair manage to find the mask and Dory reads the address wrote onto it.

Meanwhile Nemo is summoned to an initiation ceremony to join the fraternal bonds of tankhood by his fellow fish in the tank. After completing his task he is given the name of brother shark bait and the fish all make plans to escape, back to the ocean.

Marlin thinks he would be better off finding Nemo by himself and upsets Dory, a school of fish find Dory upset and gives the pair directions to Sydney, the address on the mask and tell Dory to follow the east Australian current which she'll find after going through the trench that leads to it.

Upon finding the trench that leads to the current Dory has forgot what the fish told her and Marlin encourages Dory to swim over the trench and not through it, a big mistake, as they are both nearly killed by a bloom of jellyfish.

Nemo at this point tries to put into action the start of the escape plan, while the dentist visits the toilet the fish know they have time to try to jam the water filter in the tank which will cause the dentist to have to clean their water, giving them chance to be out of the tank. The plan almost kills Nemo as the filter nearly sucks him back into its rotating blades,

As the tanks gets dirty the fish think their plan is working, but the dentist puts in a new filter during the night and they awake to a sparkling clean tank.

Marlin and Dory exit the current at their exit and Marlin has surprised himself by actually having some fun. They struggle to follow the turtles directions and have to ask a whale for help. The whale actually swallows the pair and un-be-known to them he is actually taking them to Sydney harbour.

After arriving at the harbour and yet another close call with a pelican and flock of seagulls they have a pelican friend of the fish rescue them and take them to Nemo at the dentists surgery.

To their horror they find Nemo in a bag ready for the birthday girl to pick up, and Nemo appears dead, but he is only playing dead in the hope that the dentist will flush him down the toilet. After a commotion in the surgery caused by the pelican, another fish helps Nemo into the dentist's sink, down the drain and into the ocean.

Totally depressed by the thought that his son is dead, Marlin thanks Dory for her help and sets off home on his own.

In searching for his dad, Nemo bumps into Dory who has had another memory loss but seeing Nemo jogs her memory and she remembers why she is in Sydney harbour.

Together they find Marlin but the reunion is cut short as Dory gets caught in a fishing net along with a school of fish. Nemo persuades his dad to let him help Dory and they all encourage the fish to swim downwards to stop the net being winched on board the fishing boat.

The trick works and the fish and Dory are saved and the reunion continues. The movie concludes with Marlin, Nemo and Dory back home and Marlin able to let his son "go have an adventure"
