Is finding your passion really that important?

I think at a certain point in everyone's life we are left questioning "Is this all there is?". For most of us the daily grind of getting up, going to a job that does not excite or motivate us, and then coming home and repeating the cycle has left many tired, frustrated, confused and wondering if it is actually possible to find our passion in life.

Finding your passion is finding that thing, or beautifully entwined combination of things, that really gets your blood pumping, mind racing with excitement, and heart singing with joy. It about believing that you are able to be, do, or have anything and then going for it.

The trick to finding your passion however is how to find it?.Take time, still your mind and listen to your heart. It truly is trying to speak to you. Be patient and kind to yourself and above anything explore. Explore your world and build experiences.

At times it may feel as though you are searching for a needle in a haystack but it is through all those different interactions and experiences that you will begin to discover activities that really energize and excite you. Once you have found one, two or however many of those, incorporate them into your life on a daily basis if possible. Make sure you get your dose of joy as often as you physically can, it is from those moments of happiness and bliss that the greater you is able to emerge.
