Fire Emblem Series

Fire Emblem is a series of addictive turn-based strategy video games that first came out in Japan in 1990.  They arrived in the US in 2003 with the release of Fire Emblem for the Gameboy Advance, which was the 7th in the Japanese series.  Since then we've also seen the release of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (this one for the Gamecube).  Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for the Wii was a bit of a disappointment, but the remake of the very first game, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, for the DS was not.
