In addition, they also work on promoting and encouraging children and youth literacy through various program.

Every Child Deserves a Bedtime Story

Support the First Book Program

Bedtime Stories are a ritual for us with either myself or my husband reading a story to the girls on many nights to help them calm down enough to go to sleep.

Books are one of the few things I don't scrimp on with my daughters. They also get many as presents from their grandmothers - one a former preschool teacher, the other a current librarian.

I can't imagine not having the books to read to my girls, or the experience of teaching them about reading, exploring, thinking and learning.

The "Every Child Deserves a Bedtime Story" Program is one of the primary reasons I had for developing this lens to get the word out about the First Books Program.
