Love this lens and it is repetitious of my first grandsons arrival. My daughter was 17 when she got pregnant and lived at home with me during that time. Also wanted me at the birth and I held him for the first 2 hours of his life. He is now 22 and a lovely young man. Great story, blessed and featured on Blessed by Skiesgreen 2012 and also on How to Baby, hugs

Any updates yet! We're all waiting in anticipation. My daughter is due next Wednesday the 25th. She is only about the size that Cassie was at 21weeks. I hope everything goes well. I'm heading up to be with my daughter on Monday so won't be around for a while.

What a great story! How wonderful that you are so there for your daughter's pregnancy. I can't wait to hear about the birth. Maybe it's happened already?

Looks like twins to me. I can't wait to see the pictures of your precious grandson. I love being a grandma and our grandson brings so much joy into our lives.

Wow, I enjoyed reading every bit of this - you must be so thrilled that your first grandchild is just around the corner. I'm sure your daughter can't wait to see her firstborn too. I'm excited to see the lens you will write once he is born. *blessed*

Congratulations you soon to be Grandma! Poor Cassie...that looks like it hurts! I was there for the delivery of both of my little granddaughters and it was awesome! Well, actually I was afraid I was going to pass out with my own daughter...couldn't stand her discomfort! With daughter-in-law I became the last minute coach because her Mom just couldn't take it. I was calmer with that one. It is a miracle that means even more when you see it first hand.

Oh WOW! This so reminded me of my daughter's first child. She also is quite small and had a 9 lb baby. I so hope that you will update this lens with the picture of the new baby. I hope that all goes well for all concerned.

It must be hard to wait. My oldest son is getting married next year, but it will be awhile before they start a family. My sisters love being a grandmama.
    Thanks for sharing

Poor girl, she is so big! I was too, so I can sympathize. Hope we see a baby soon : )

OMG! Poor little Cassie's stomach! It's amazing we all lived though it isn't it? I just got to be at my granddaughter's birth and it was very spiritual and amazing. Good luck to all!

What a beautiful lens! I'm so excited for you! My mom was with me when I delivered both of my boys and I wouldn't have had it any other way. I hope all goes well with everyone and congratulations!
