What Am I Doing Here in Squidoo Land?

My name is Helena. And I am terribly nervous. And excited. So excited and nervous, I might actually Squirt!

This is my first Squidoo lens and I am just learning how to Squirt Straight!

Have lots to say (sometimes I can't shut up - so my loved ones tell me) and don't know where to start.
As you will read in My Bio - I am bling-obsessed. But I do have other interests. Honest!

I hope to be able to write/squid about all of my interest at some stage or other. But that doesn't quite answer the question of what I am doing here does it?

I have a store. OK, several. And this has been a hard year. And I found Squidoo on my many Google journeys and thought I might be able to make more ends meet by doing another something I love. Which is writing (tho it has been known to degrade into babbling).

My Possible Future Squirts

What I want to and hope to be squirting about here in future is:

  • My web store which is called ClearlyChosen. I love it. I love my goodies. And I love the boss! But more of that later ...

  • Swarovski. My number one bling! I write articles about Swarovski. For my customers and also for me. It is very hard to find really detailed information about the amazingly wide and glorious range of Swarovski elements and I make it a mission to find out as much as I can and offer it to all blink-lovers.

  • NetWebbing - which is my IT related site. Here I write simplified tutorials on things IT and/or Web related. I just did a simple how-to 1-2-3 Squidoo Intro for beginners (like myself!).

  • shCREDO for Mental Help - Because I am a NLP Master Practitioner and also because I need so much mental help myself, I love reading, writing about this area. Which to me is indivisible from spiritual growth.

  • Felting - ah! My latest obsession. And how can I not want to write about this! My Felting Gallery is just a start and who knows where it will lead! :)


See what I mean about babbling?! I have more stuff I want to write about and hope someone out there in the big wide world will read and enjoy. Better yet if found to be useful.

But as this is my first Squirdy Lens, this is just myself introducing myself to the currently mysterious world of Squidoo. Anyone finding me .. please leave some commment or feedback so that I can learn from this. But mainly coz I would be so lonely otherwise.

I Am an Etsy Newbie

And looking for a boost

I only heard about Etsy a few months back (and yes, I do often live under a rock) and I joined them at the end of July 2009. And my Etsy store is part of the reason I am here squirting at Squidoo today.

Yes, it is true that the long, delicious yum-yum arms (tentacles?) of Mr Squidoo would have gotten to me sooner or later, but Etsy is the main current impetus.

I was actually looking for a way to promote my Etsy store and Squidoo was one of the suggested avenues. Maybe this is just celestial synchronicity - the merging of 2 avenues I am going to love; but whatever it is, I am happy.

For the very few out there who also live under rocks and don't know about Etsy and who might be trying to decide on a venue to sell their goodies, have a quick read of my Comparative Guide in choosing between Etsy, ArtFire, or MadeIt.

Yes, it is my obsessive, detailed nature that forces me to research before jumping in. So hope it helps!

My Etsy store is special (to me, of course!). Apart from offering my beloved Swarovskis, this is the venue where I can showcase my new obsession - my felted bags.
