Artichoke Feedback

No pun intended.

From the lens First Time to Eat Artichokes.

Here is your chance to give your opinion of artichokes and this lens about them. Maybe tell how you like to serve them. Maybe share a special artichoke recipe. And don't forget that artichokes need love too.

Great articles. I have enjoyed artichoke from the first time I ate them. The first time I ate them I was in college and I haven't stopped since then.

I think I tried an Artichoke a while ago at a friend's place and loved it. You did a great job of explaining what they are and how to prepare and eat them. Too bad I retired my Squid Angel wings for Nov, if not this lens would get my SA blessing! :)

We love artichokes at my house in fact my son's Kindergarten teacher was very surprised that when she asked the class what their favorite vegetable was, he said artichokes. :) Most of the other kids didn't even know what an artichoke was.

Here's my funny story: right from the start, I loved artichokes. But I never knew how good the hearts were... when I was little, my parents used to tell me that if I got any of the furry stuff in my throat, I would choke (hence, artichoke) and so of course I willingly gave up the hearts to them... Quite a scheme, eh?

    I still don't like them : )

I am so like you. I was grossed out by the furry stuff before the heart. That is mostly because I wasn't given the best advice on getting it out or else I didn't listen. But once I had tried eating them a couple more times, I became a true believer in artichokes. Love your lens. If I had read it before I tried eating one, I would have had no trouble with the furry stuff.
5 stars and an email to the friend who introduced me to the artichoke. We are still friends.

I was more fortunate than you with my first artichoke experience. The wife of a friend was from Greece and a great fan of the choke. She learned I had never tried one and ordered the appetizer. She then provided detailed instruction and assistance and I have been a devoted artichoke lover every since. That is only one of the reasons she is still a close friend and her husband is not!!!!!
