Founded by Jeff Taylor, creator of Monster.com, Eons is an online community where boomers can set up profiles, join groups, share photos and videos, play brain games, and so much more. An interesting feature is the Longevity Calculator, a 10-minute health-based survey to discover how healthy you really are. The BOOMs section of the site displays links to articles, group posts, blogs, photos, and videos rated by Eons members.

I Remember JFK

Started by a baby boomer and Linux user named Ron Enderland, I Remember JFK is a blog dedicated to the life and reflection of the boomer generation. Enderland posts candid memories of the '60s and '70s each week, recalling Funny Face drink mixes, The Carpenters, and Wham-O toys.

In September of 2007, an online community for people ages 40 and up was born under the leadership of Robin Wolaner, founder of Parenting Magazine. TeeBeeDee is shorthand for "To Be Determined," and the focus of the site is on helping mid-lifers feel like they can grow by sharing experiences and information with each other. Users are encouraged to join a group and post discussions on topics such as weight loss, career changes, and politics. An interesting section of the site, "Real Life Scripts," offers solutions on how to start a conversation in a difficult situation, like talking to your kid about drugs.

Targeted to women born in the baby boom, BoomerGirl has tons of interesting articles and news on spirituality, art, wine, pop culture, wealth, sex, and more. Launched in January of 2007, BoomerGirl also offers online "clubs" where you can meet other boomer girls with similar interests. AARP.org (beta)

AARP.org (beta) is the new online version of the award-winning AARP Magazine.
