Not only is there a triple shot cannon and vinyl netting for the pirates to "climb", but multiple action points extend the plank, drop the anchor, activate working sails, and even initiate a sword fight. Very cool and loads of fun!

My son received this Imaginext Pirate playset for his birthday a few years ago. He is now eight and still plays with it. This set includes a pirate figure, a small treasure chest, a boat with an anchor for the chest, a flag, and a working cannon. Action points throughout open and close a skeletal prison chamber, reveal the hidden treasure, and collapse rocky ridges. I would definitely recommend Captain Hook's Island to anyone. It also makes an excellent accessory for the Imaginext Pirate Ship mentioned above.

- I love this pirate toys page! My sons went through a major pirates phase when they were little, dressing like pirates, playing with pirate ships, reading books about pirates. Creative play is so important for children. Lensrolling this to my "Nurturing Imagination" lens!
