It lights up and sounds just like a real space ship. The Imaginext Space Shuttle is very durable so it can handle a lot of play. This ship makes a count down noise as you are preparing for take off. All the doors open and close and the elevator goes up and down.

This looks like a great toy for a budding astronaut. Of course who knows what the next generation of shuttles is going to look like, but being fascinated by space travel myself and having been to Kennedy Space Center and seen a launch, I can imagine many Dad's teaching their son's about space while playing with this.
