This is a really cute Fisher Price soother featuring little birds in a nest accompanied by music and projecting a soothing scene onto the ceiling for lulling babies to sleep. This is a very popular product and has limited availability. As a bird lover this would be my first choice of music and motion soother.
Do The Fisher Price Soothers Actually Work?
The promotional text says that they work. Certainly the mood of the babies in the two videos above seem to suggest that they work. However, it is hard to know isn't it?Do these music and motion baby soothers actually work?
Well, the first time I came across these toys was when I saw a neighbour's baby with one. This little boy had been unwell for some time and had become infamous down our road for his moaning. On this particular day I was passing his house and saw him with his mother, quietly watching something that was producing lights and music. This turned out to be the Fisher Price Rainforest Waterfall Soother that you can see above.
With the lights, music and moving waterfall and animals it must be said that this toy did have rather a calming influence, not only on the child but me too!
