Fisher Price Learning Puppy

Hanna loved this puppy. Every time we were in the car she seemed to learn something new, whether it was body parts, or colors, or a new song. I think she seriously learned her first song on a trip to Tulsa playing with the learning puppy.

I like to find out what other parents think before I spend my money on something for Christmas. I have bought toys that looked great only to find they were duds. When I went back and looked at the reviews I realized I could have saved myself a lot of hassle just by checking in with other parents first.

"I had seen this puppy and honestly didn't think it was very cute (blue ears?), but a friend told me they loved theirs, so I decided to give it a try. It has been worth every penny! Bought it for my 5 month old, but both my girls LOVE it! (My other daughter just turned 3 years old.) My 5 month old loves to suck on the ears, which worries me a little considering other reviewers' problems with broken ears, but ours has been fine so far. I love that it does so many different things--great variety of music and educational experiences, plus cute, delightful phrases! Also love that it does all this and is a SOFT toy. I don't have to worry about my 5 month old getting hurt if she topples over on it (just mastering sitting up!). The large size seems to be perfect for her developmental level also...it's easy for her to grasp and cuddle and is the toy she reaches for first every morning! My only complaint is that the words to "Do Your Ears Hang Low" aren't the traditional ones I grew up with, but that's really no big deal. I think this toy is EXCELLENT and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!"

"At first my husband and I were skeptical about the Learning Puppy. It was a gift from his co-worker for our son and at first we both thought it was just another noisy toy. Boy, were we wrong! Our son ADORES this puppy. He is still a little young for toys, but this puppy is perfect even for the little ones. I set it up where I change his diaper and he stares, grabs, and smiles like crazy at it. It was the Learning Puppy that got my son to laugh out loud for the first time. He also tries to hum along with the songs. I don't know what we would do without this Learning Puppy."

"My 6 month old daughter's eyes lit up the first time this puppy started singing. She reaches for it immediately when ever it is in sight. It is so hug-able and friendly that she cheers up with it, even in her worst moods. The only bad experience we've had with this toy is that her 2 year old cousin can't stop taking it away from her. He has adopted this puppy as is own. Great toy for infants and toddlers too! "
