Fitness Holiday Ideas
Ideas for a fitness holiday
New Text module
I am getting three months off from work from May to August, and then I wish to devote it so I benefit from it. So I began browsing into just how to get healthy on a holiday. A fitness holiday appears to have all the elements I am searching for. Losing weight, being around other people with the very same mind set so I will not be distracted all the time and exercising every day.
I suspected I wanted to start my gap year off with a fitness holiday, but I had no concept what the option were. Thank god for the online. I typed in fitness holiday in to The search engines and there it was. Xtreme Gap a hip looking gap year company concentrating in fitness holidays. With options all over the world.
I looked on the internet for a fitness holiday in Thailand, a fitness holiday in China and a fitness holiday in Brazil. These three countries I have never been and I would love to spend my fitness holiday there. And these countries each have their own Martial Arts. I grew up with a dad that does martial arts so this is where my interest lies.
The fitness holiday in Thailand that I liked the most was the Mixed martial arts fitness holiday programme in Phuket. They have the option to train up to 8 hours a day and they also have training sessions on the beach so I can also work on my tan once I am out there. They also have great accommodation and meals are included. This one sounded very good.
A fitness holiday in China also sounds very interesting to me. Especially if I can combine my fitness holiday with learning a new language. At the Xtreme Gap Kung Fu training programme in China you will get lessons in mandarin. Ok no beaches around but during this fitness holiday programme you will staying a world heritage, not bad either. Food is also included here... no pizza and pasta and fries. Oh yes, I will get so fit if I choose this fitness holiday option.
But then I came across a fitness holiday in Brazil. I love Capoeira. Not that I have ever done it but it looks so cool! And have you seen those bodies? This fitness holiday programme is in Rio, close to the busiest beach in Brazil where everything that is alive looks good. I think this will be my favourite. Now all I have to do is to convince my parents to contribute in the costs.
I have the feeling my parents will be supporting me, they would love to see me on a fitness holiday to get in shape. They were very young their selves when they started travelling too so they will also support that I want to go on a fitness holiday far from home. I will get to learn more about myself as I am in a foreign country by myself.
The good thing about booking my fitness holiday through a gap year company is that they can advise me before I go, help me out with visa's and I know I will have the right support once I am out there. And I will meet lots of other gap year travellers on their fitness holiday. With these arguments I know my parents will agree on me to go, and maybe even pay for it.
