Ranked #9,473 in Sports & Recreation, #229,543 overall
Football Season Is Here Again
Well it's that time of the year again, where we lose our men to Football. No more getting errands around the house done, no more quality time with the honey, and don't even bring up church. Nope, just a lot of yelling and swearing coming from the next room. Oh, and the snacks and chili and empty beer bottles you will have to deal withfor the next couple months. But....there is a good side to it. You can go shopping with the girls, you can spend some time with the kids, or you can get involved to. It doesn't have to be a man thing. I mean there is some definite football eye candy, you have to admit!

REASON # 10 - Mark Sanchez
New York Jets- Quarterback
Mark Sanchez is a quarterback for the New York Jets. He was drafted in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft as the fifth overall selection by the Jets and the second quarterback taken overall. He played college football at the University of Southern California. The New York Jets' young star doesn't have the many career numbers of Carson Palmer, Philip Rivers, Peyton Manning or Tom Brady. But he has sent all four home in the playoffs past seasons.

Most people don't know that Mark is really interested in musical theatre. He jokes that he takes heat for it from the other players, but he still enjoys musicals and was even a presenter at the 2010 Tony Awards where he introduced a number from the Broadway musical called, "Memphis."

Sanchez is involved in multiple charities like the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to help raise awareness for Type 1 diabetes. He is also involved with Sam's Club's Giving Made Simple which, helps raise awareness about childhood obesity and how families can prevent it.
Sanchez has worked with the Teddy Atlas Foundation through which he met Aiden Binkley, a terminally ill 11-year old struck with rhabdomyosarcoma. Sanchez developed a bond with Binkley and the two remained close friends until Binkley's death in December 2010 which devastated Sanchez.

One thing for sure is that Mark is not too shabby in the looks department!

REASON # 9 - Aaron Rodgers
Greenbay Packers- Quaterback
Wiki info-Aaron Charles Rodgers was born on December 2, 1983. He is the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. Aaron was born in Chico in Butte County, California. Rodgers was selected in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Packers. Rodgers played college football while attending the University of California, Berkeley, where he set several California Golden Bears records, including lowest interception rate at 1.43%.
In 2011, Aaron Rodgers got the Packers off to a 3-0 start. Rodgers had the best start to a season in his career, throwing for 8 touchdowns, 917 yards, and a 120 passer rating, which earned him the NFC Offensive Player of the Month award for the third time in his career.
Since becoming a starter, Rodgers has become known for his unique touchdown victory celebration which he and his teammates have dubbed "the Championship Belt". After a significant scoring plays, Rodgers celebrates by making a motion as if he is putting an invisible belt on around his waist.

But all football lingo aside, I think Aaron won the hearts of many after Favre played his "retiring/not retiring" games, leaving Aaron in limbo for many years. And with his sheepish little grin, he is not too bad on the eyes girls!

REASON # 8 - Tom Brady
The Pats- Quarterback
Wiki Info-Tom Brady, Jr. was born on August 3, 1977. He is the quarterback for the New England Patriots. He has played in four Super Bowls, winning three of them.. He has also won two Super Bowl MVP awards and, has been selected to six Pro Bowls. He holds the NFL record for most touchdown passes in a single regular season. His career postseason record is 14-5. He also helped set the record for the longest consecutive win streak in NFL history with 21 straight wins over two seasons.

Brady holds numerous regular season and postseason records, including: most touchdown passes in a regular season (50); highest touchdown-to-interception ratio in a single season (9:1); highest single-game completion percentage, regular season or postseason (26/28, 92.9%); most consecutive pass attempts without an interception (358); most consecutive regular-season home wins (30, still active); highest winning percentage of any quarterback ever during his first 100 starts (76 wins); most completions in one Super Bowl (32); and the longest streak of games with 3 or more touchdown passes (10 games). most career completions in Super Bowl history (100); Brady is the fourth-fastest player to reach 200 career passing touchdowns (116 games). He is the first quarterback in NFL history to have reached said mark with under 100 career interceptions (he had 88 interceptions). Considering his many numerous achievements, and his late draft selection (6th round, 199th selection), many analysts, including those at the NFL Network, have called Brady the best NFL draft pick (or draft steal) of all time, as well as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Before the 2011 season, his fellow players voted him the best player in the NFL.
OK I can go on and on about all the records he set or all the things he won, but I think we all want to get to the juicy gossip, right?

His personal life-
As most people already know Brady dated actress Bridget Moynahan from 2004 to 2006. Unfortunately they broke up in December 2006. In February of 2007, Moynahan went public that she was more than three months pregnant with their baby. Brady was present when the baby, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was born on August 22, 2007 at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica.

In 2009, Brady married Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen. In 2009, Brady confirmed to ESPN that Gisele was expecting. In December of 2009, Bündchen gave birth to a son.
Tom Brady stuff!
REASON #7 - Brett Favre
Mostly known for being the Greenbay Packers Quarterback
Wiki InfoBrett Favre was born on October 10, 1969 He was the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers from 1992-2007. He is a 20 year veteran of the NFL. He has played quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons (1991), Green Bay Packers (1992-2007), New York Jets (2008) and Minnesota Vikings (2009-2010). Favre is the only quarterback in NFL history to throw for over 70,000 yards, over 500 touchdowns, over 300 interceptions, and over 10,000 pass attempts. He officially retired on January 17, 2011.
He is the only player to win the AP Most Valuable Player three consecutive times (1995-97). He has led teams to eight division championships (1995, 1996, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2009), five NFC Championship Games (1995, 1996, 1997, 2007, 2009), and two Super Bowl appearances (Super Bowl XXXI, Super Bowl XXXII), winning one (Super Bowl XXXI).

Favre has many NFL records, including most career touchdown passes, most career passing yards, most career pass completions, most career pass attempts, most career interceptions thrown, most consecutive starts by a player, most consecutive starts by a quarterback, most career victories as a starting quarterback, most sacked, and most fumbles. He is often referred to by his nickname "The Gunslinger".
He is loved by his many "cheesehead fans." Although it got a little old when he couldn't make up his mind on if he was going to retire or not for a couple years there.
Favre married Deanna Tynes on July 14, 1996. They have two daughters and one grandson.
In 2010, the NFL began investigating Favre for allegedly sexting and leaving inappropriate voice messages for Jets "Gameday host" Jenn Sterger during the 2008 season. The investigation was in response to the voicemail recordings and photos posted by the website Deadspin the day before. In late October 2010, Favre was rumored to have admitted to NFL officials investigating the allegations that he indeed left the voicemail messages on Jenn Sterger's phone, but denied sending photos. On December 29, 2010, Favre was found not to be in violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy, but was fined $50,000 for failing to cooperate with the investigation.

REASON #6 - Brandon London
Currently playing with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League
Many of you probably have not heard of Brandon Jaime London. But he was an American football wide receiver who is currently playing with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. He was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football in Massachusetts.
Let's just all hope we see more of Brandon in the future.

London has also played for the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers. He earned a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Giants' practice squad in Super Bowl XLII. He is the son of college football coach Mike London. London signed a future contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers on February 9, 2010. London was cut by the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 3, 2010.
I had to include him in here, well, just look at him. This lens is not exactly about achievements...
REASON # 5 - Walter Payton
Wiki InfoWalter Jerry Payton was an American football running back who played for the Chicago Bears for thirteen seasons. Walter Payton was known around the NFL as "Sweetness". He is remembered as one of the greatest running backs in the history of football. Payton, a nine-time Pro Bowl selectee, once held the league's record for most career rushing yards, touchdowns, carries, yards from scrimmage, all-purpose yards, and many other categories. He was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993. Hall of Fame NFL player and coach Mike Ditka described Payton as the greatest football player he had ever seen, but even greater as a human being.
Payton married Connie Norwood in 1976. During his rookie years he resided in a home on the north side of Arlington Heights, Illinois. The couple had two children, and resided in South Barrington, Illinois.
In 1999, Payton announced that he had a rare autoimmune liver disease known as primary sclerosing cholangitis, which probably led to his cholangiocarcinoma . He spent his final months as an advocate for organ transplants, appearing in many commercials to encourage others to donate organs, although by the time his first appeal was recorded, his illness was already too far advanced for transplantation to have been a viable option. In April of that year, Payton made a final public appearance at a Chicago Cubs game with Mike Ditka, where he threw the game's ceremonial first pitch. Author Don Yaeger worked with him during the last weeks of his life to create his autobiography, Never Die Easy.
On November 1, 1999, Payton died from the complications that arose from his illness. He was 45 years old. During the same week, the NFL held special ceremonies in each game to commemorate his career and legacy. In addition, the Chicago Bears wore special #34 patches on their jerseys to honor Payton.
I wanted to include Walter Payton in here because I had the pleasure of meeting him, a couple times. I live by where he did and would see him at the malls or he would come into Kentucky Fried Chicken (where I worked in high school) with Perry (The Frig) and he was always so sweet and nice. He was was a great looking guy but always with his wife.

REASON # 4 - Brian Urlacher

His , accomplishments and reputation have made him one of the team's most popular players. Urlacher has also been spokesperson for several companies, such as Nike, McDonald's, Old Spice, and Vitamin Water.

Urlacher has two daughters, with ex-wife Laurie Urlacher and a son, Kennedy, with Tyna Robertson. Urlacher currently lives with his daughters and has visitation rights with his son. When home, Urlacher he enjoys watching the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, and HBO's Entourage. Urlacher enjoys listening to a wide variety of music, including hip hop, rap, rock, and country music.

The Difference Between Men and Women
MATURITY:
Women mature much faster than men. Most 17-year old females can function as adults. Most 17-year old males are still trading football cards and giving each other wedgies after gym class.
REASON # 3 - Tony Romo
Dallas Cowboys- Quarterback
Wiki InfoTony Romo is a quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Romo's career passer rating ranks fourth-best all time. Romo replaced the Cowboys' previous starting quarterback Drew Bledsoe during a game against the New York Giants in the 2006 season. He has remained the starter since then.
Romo is an avid amateur golfer, and attempted to qualify for the 2004 EDS Byron Nelson Championship and the 2005 U.S. Open, but failed. During the offseason, when not training, he plays golf around Dallas. He failed to make the cut in qualifying for Byron Nelson in 2008.
Romo is also a frequent guest on national sports radio programs.
Tony's private life has not been too private since getting involved with Jessica Simpson. In November 2007, he began dating singer Jessica Simpson. On December 16, 2007, Simpson attended a Dallas Cowboys-Philadelphia Eagles game at Texas Stadium, in which Romo had a bad performance in the loss to the Eagles. Further controversy erupted before the playoff game against the New York Giants when pictures surfaced of Romo and some other teammates at a resort in Cabo San Lucas with Simpson.
In 2009, Tony and Jessica called it quits. A source close to the pop star told the magazine that Romo broke up with Simpson on July 9, the night before her 29th birthday.
It seems as though she has moved on..onto another football player.
