Fun Five Day Trips and Quick Getaway Ideas

Have you ever had mental bloc when trying to plan a quick getaway or mini-vacation.

Now you can find unique trip planning suggestions and original articles that will spur you to pick up the phone and call your vacation planner, or turn on your computer and type one of your great suggestions into your browser.

So many people with so little time try to pack their typical 7 day vacation with too much activity.  Our recommendation at www.fivedaytrips.com,  is to take more short vacations.  You'll leave time for yourself and family when you get back home to just relax and chill out before returning to the weekly grind called work.

This year, make a pledge to schedule three or five day "mini vacations."  You'll find yourself looking forward to more trips and when you get back to work, you'll definitely have a smile on your face that your co-workers won't be able to figure out.

New Galveston Vacation Rental

A deluxe 4/3 home for the perfect quick getaway...

After 5 months of renovation, we're opening our Galveston Vacation Rental to guests.

All you have to do is unpack and buy groceries... everything else is there for you. It's the perfect getaway location 10 minutes west of the Galveston Seawall. An easy drive from Houston or if you fly in to Hobby Airport, it's less than an hour south on Interstate 45.

Our vacation home has been named "Sunset Bungalow" because you literally have unrestricted sunset views across West Galveston Bay 337 days a year. Enjoy spectacular views from either of the two huge decks; waterside on the canal or from the front.

Bring your girlfriends or include your family. You're surrounded by water views on all 4 sides. Relax in a hammock or one of the great deck chairs. Read a book or watch movies from our music and reading libraries, or plan an afternoon of shopping along the Galveston Strand. There's plenty to do in Galveston and entertainment of all types are just a short drive.
