A Denver-based third-wave ska band that started in 1995 and called it quits in 2003. They released nine albums (though feel free to count differently depending on whether or not you consider live albums, EPs and rarities "albums") with 5 Minute Walk Records.
Five Iron Frenzy was considered a Christian band, though the band members themselves probably wouldn't like that discription. Their outlook and song lyrics often reflected Christian values, they didn't exist solely in the world of Christian music, touring with Christian bands like the Supertones, Relient K, Switchfoot, and others, as well as mainstream bands like Less Than Jake and the Blue Meanies.
Five Iron also had a penchant for incredibly goofy humor, which included dressing up for concerts and recording silly songs like "Kitty Doggy."
