Xbox 360 Red Light Fix

The Xbox 360 video game console has proven to be one of the most popular consoles of the century. It features next generation technological features and there is a vast amount of games available, all thanks to Microsoft.

The problem is that Microsoft either didn't take the time to heavily test prototypes, or just miscalculated the amount that could go wrong with the console itself, which has led to massive problems and huge returns from customers to retailers.

What Microsoft have done is make a coding system which is linked into red and green flashing lights to allow the users to determine the current state of their Xbox 360, which has obviously led to massive decreases for Microsoft in the consumption of their technical support team.

The Xbox 360 flashing light system is dreaded by many, which is completely understandable, considering that Microsoft don't tend to return the video game consoles untill at least four weeks after they have received them. Many refer to all three lights flashing, the most disastrous of technical faults within the console as the "Red Ring of Death".

The console was released back in 2005 and since then has caused nothing but problems. The three light ring which basically means the console is dead isn't the only problem either. Many reports have been made of the Xbox 360 scratching discs when they are put into the machine and even failing to load after updates.

A legal case between consumers and Microsoft has opened up a new raft of rumours that Microsoft could be held directly responsible for the failure of the Xbox.
