Flags For Fun - Decorative Outdoor Flags

As I mentioned above, while I will not make duplicate decorative flags, I will make "similars".

I may use the same basic template or pattern that I've created, but I'll change colors or a supporting item on the flag to ensure that there is enough difference in the custom made flag.

Here is an example that I think portrays quite well what I mean when I say I can make "similar" flags. The colors of the mittens, hat trim, and scarf are changed, plus the scarf pattern is completely different. The snow flakes are also completely unique on each one.

Living near the beach, I get lots of requests for "beach" flags . . .

Here's the newest version of a sailboat flag featured on a bright blue background with whitecaps dancing on the water and the sails catching the wind. On this particular decorative outdoor flag, the letter "R" was monogrammed for personalization.

While this flag was actually made with a bought pattern, I changed enough of the pattern pieces to make it my own.

I've made a few of this duck flag and have made enough changes on every single one that I was comfortable with calling each a custom made one of a kind flag.

Isn't it the sweetest looking flag? It's one of my earlier favorites.

Yes, the pineapple is a symbol for the word "Welcome" and makes a great greeter for a business.

This particular flag has space left open on the bottom of it until the business owner decides if he wants the name of his store or the word Welcome monogrammed on the bottom of the flag.

I was raised in Southern Maine right across from my grandparent's farm, so the sight of cows and a big barn were familiar sights for me. This one flag evoked many childhood memories when I hung it up and I still have it in the closet.

Yes, it comes out occasionally when we are not in a particular Holiday season where I have a seasonal flag out instead.

I have three sons so sports were a large part of their growing up. Each one of them chose a football team from a young age to cheer for on game day and they all wanted their team flags hanging on their bedroom walls.
