Once upon a time would be an easy way to begin telling the story of Flame Gurl. That is, if she was a fairy tale.
There are no dwarves or gingerbread houses covered with candy in her story. Only frying pans and door hinge squeezed oranges. Although, dwarves and gingerbread houses may make their way into her story somehow...who knows???
Flame Gurl meets up with some pretty unusual characters along the way including Teeny of the Famous Teeny's Diner, Canadaville's resident superhero Frying Pan Gurl, and Super Villain Blu Jacket. And let's not forget about the mysterious dark-haired man!
So come meet Flame Gurl in the series that is full of twists and turns, with the Canadian sense of humour thrown in for fun. But be warned, you're in for a Flametastic adventure of a lifetime!

The Adventures of Flame Gurl Book Series__________________
The front door burst open as if a gust of wind had blown it in.
It appeared the woman standing in the now broken down doorway had blown the door right off its hinges without even touching it.
Join Flame Gurl in her first book as she and Super Sidekick Frying Pan Gurl try to save Canadaville from Super Villain Blu Jacket. Will all of Flame Gurl's entrances be as dramatic? Will evil prevail in Canadaville? Stay tuned...Same Flame Time! Same Flame Channel!

"Canadaville isn't big enough for the both of us! So back off!"
Will Frying Pan Gurl and Flame Gurl come to an understanding...or will their differences be too much? And what's with all the electrical surges in Canadaville? They really are annoying!
Lightning flashed and the thunder rolled.
"I can use this storm to my advantage," Blu Jacket said as she rubbed her hands together. "With all of this lightning, I wouldn't have to recharge ever again."
What's a gurl to do? Power surges are wreaking havoc all over Canadaville and Flame Gurl's Flameatizing power is acting up. How will she be able to stop Blu Jacket who seems to be turning...magenta???

The Green Monster appeared to be five-stories tall and Flame Gurl guessed to be about 5000 pounds. It had feet the size of a grown man, and toe nails the size of a young child.
The Green Eyed Monster is closing in on Flame Gurl and it doesn't look pretty! Okay, so the monster has yellow eyes...you get the idea! Will Flame Gurl be able to save Canadaville from this new threat? Or is everyone doomed?
Oranges and Watermelons floated with skill and grace as they fought the fruit fight of the ages.
Join Flame Gurl as she joins forces with The Galactic Orange Brigade in their pursuit to save their Earthling brethren from the evil Watermelon Seeds. It's an epic of mass proportion! The biggest food fight you've ever seen!
"I'll make marmalade out of you, Col. Clementine!" the watermelon screamed.Flame Gurl's Flame is pretty in pink with this lovely design.

Canadavilleism: A way to explain the unexplainable just because you are in Canadaville. See the below examples.
Welcome to Canadaville
Breese Jarvis is splashed by muddy water splashed on her by a taxi cab. She is now soaking wet. She sits down and takes off her shoe to tip the water out of it. Breese soon discovers that the water is "pouring" out rather than just dribbling out. This would not happen in the rest of the world...or would it???
A Gurl and Her Frying Pan
Flame Gurl and Frying Pan Gurl enter an abandoned warehouse where everything seems a little too quiet. Suddenly, a tumbleweed rolls by. Could this happen elseware? Only if it were in Canadaville.
A Blu Jacket of a Different Colour
Well, the fact that Blu Jacket is turning magenta is odd in itself. However, the fact that there are power surges all over the city of Canadaville and the radios are still working when everything else electronic is going bonkers is also very strange. Only in Canadaville.
It's Not Easy Being Green
Subtitles appear under the Green Yellow-eyed Monster to help with roar translations. Of course one roar could mean one word or it could mean several paragraphs. This perhaps you could get away with in other places besides Canadaville.
The Oranges Strike Back
This is one of those books that could pretty much only exist in Canadaville. Talking and flying watermelons. Chopstick wielding oranges. An epic battle to end all epic battles. Need we say more???
Keep your eyes open throughout the books for more things that can only be explained in Canadaville. From the outragous to the obvious.
Have a survival story? Is there a hero you'd like to talk about? What is your favourite Flame Gurl moment? Have a suggestion for a book? Or just want to leave a question or comment, then leave them here.
