Flash Gallery Tutorials

Well actually its Less Then 2 Minutes if you have your images ready and your the files open - then it takes, hmmmmm about 2 seconds No Joke - Just Drag And Drop!

I really don't get why some people spend hours , days sometimes weeks trying to make a killer flash gallery from scratch.

Don't waste your time re designing the wheel...... If you want to start a blog use wordpress, if you want to build a site use a template if you want to Make a Flash Gallery use XML.

XML is an easy way to modify existing flash gallery's that are FULLY WORKING ALREADY. If its powered by XML all you need to do is DRAG AND DROP your image files into the directory and BANG it will work for you.

Just like a website retrieves images from a specified folder, so does an XML gallery.

The 3D Wall has to be one of the finest and slickest flash gallery ever created. It can be manipulated easily by over riding the image files so it works straight out of the box however it does come with heaps more extra customizable features when loaded in to flash.

Certainly one of its main features apart from the excellent user interface, double sided thumbnails, pre loader and ability to play movies, is it that it can import data from third party sites such as Flicker and youtube.

There are a few snags with it as it can be heavy when loading, however if you optimize your images well and reduce the amount used, this problem can be easily corrected and by modifying the pre-loader could provide an advertising placement.

The controls are pretty much everything you would expect. It works with the mouse roller, cursors, keys or anything you want to set it to. Drag up Drag Down, the gallery is completely interactive, the titles on the images can also work as hyperlinks.

I find this component highly effective, quick and efficient and therefore am using it in many of my own projects.
