Tell Me Honestly What You Think Of Flax Seeds

Go ahead tell me . . . I can handle the truth

My mom suggested flax seeds to me originally, and I think they're one of the easiest health foods to incorporate into your current diet. My favorite way to get a little flax, is to sprinkle some on my peanut butter toast every morning. What's yours?

I love flaxseed but I have only realised just how much when I stopped taking it and changed to fish oils. I was still eating flaxseed daily in my Vogel bread but I have recently gone back to the oil capsules and sometimes from the bottle in my salad dressings. I can honestly say I feel and notice the difference in my body after just over a week. I am petite but suffer from fluid retention from time to time. I've been trying to shift a couple of kgs (which is alot on my small frame) for the last 2 months. My body has usually responded well in the past to moderate exercise and healthy eating but I have struggled this time. Soon after taking the flaxseed again it dropped off even though I haven't been eating so strictly or exercising as religiously lately - I'm guessing it was largely fluid retention. I know my body loves flaxseed and it will continue to be part of my daily diet from now on : )

Thank you for your lens, I really wish more people will become aware of our secret food weapons... like flux seeds and flux seed oil. Besides other benefits, they are also source of a natural supplement - vitamin B17 - that simply kills cancer cells and does not harm healthy cells at all! If constantly present in our diet, cancer will never have a chance to develop in our body...

Hi there. I just found your lens, and I absolutely love it. But then I'm a health freak. I have an on going ribbing with one of my daughters friends. They learned in ag that clothing is made from flax, so she teases me about making my kids eat clothes. Every time she stays over, I tell her that I have added flax to our meal especially for her. She is a junk food kid. But seriously, most people don't know ANY of the health benefits of flax seed, especially the fact that it has been proven to prevent and reverse breast cancer. Great job making this important information available. And yes, I really do sprinkle it into all kinds of foods. You can just toss a little into most anything, and your family will never know the difference. 5*s to you for this awesome lens. Favoriting, and lensrolling to help spread the word. Stop by my Urban Rebounder lens and say hi when you get a chance.

I started taking ground flax seed with yogurt about five months ago. I have lots body fat but have noticed I have small breasts now. As a guy this is a concern, but they look better than my chest did before. Would be interested to know if other guys have experienced this? I do not want to stop taking flax seed because of the many health benefits, but do not want my breasts to grow very large. Any input is appreciated.

I hate to date myself (even more than I have already) but, I remember when all flax seed was used for was for men to keep their hair out of their eyes. Mum used to boil the seeds and then use the water, which had turned into a lacquer, to slick my brothers' hair down. They should have eaten the seeds instead I guess. Great information. 5 stars, fan already, favored and lensrolled.
