Fleet Vehicle Auctions & Repo Auctions - Bargains Galore!

I can honestly tell you from my experiences with fleet vehicle auctions and repo auctions that they are the best way to purchase a car at a tremendous discount!

Let me tell you my story....

As an active auto broker, I've been heavily involved in buying and selling cars. It's actually a great way to make a good living.

When I first started my business, I spent way too much time building up my inventory of cars to sell to the public. As my business grew, more people relied upon me for their next car. So, I had to find a solution to tap into a wide selection of cars consistently!

My friend suggested that I check out the upcoming fleet vehicle auctions and repo auctions that were taking place near my hometown. He always purchased his cars this way and that I should too!

Fleet vehicle auctions were where large "fleets" of vehicles owned by companies were sold off by the lot. Rental companies are common sources for this type of auction.

Repo auctions are where govenrment seized or bank seized vehicles are sold to the public.

But were these auctions the real deal?

How To Locate Fleet Vehicle Auctions & Repo Auctions

Car Buying Secrets Revealled!

Just knowing when and where the fleet vehicle auctions and repo auctions occurred took some research. It was a lot of work, but the nice thing was that once I found one, I was able to stay on the mailing list for upcoming auctions.

Some other important points:

*Sunday newspapers were goldmines - Often in the classifieds or just after the classifieds, auctions would be listed. Amazing! I always read the paper and yet always managed to overlook these ads. That's because so often these ads are rather small and if you're not focused, you can easily miss them!

*Auction sources were goldmines, too! - Since often the auctions were being run by government agencies or the collateral divisions of banks, it made sense that if we made enough phone calls we could find out about auctions that weren't even advertised!

In fact, I went on to learn that most recurring auctions aren't even advertised! How can this be??

It turns out that these auctions are attended by the same people...Car enthusiasts, car dealers, and auto brokers (like me!). With such a captive audience, there was no need to advertise because a large enough audience would show up.

Now that I knew how to find the fleet vehicle auctions and repo auctions, I had to know how to pick up some great steals at them....

Finding The Bargains At Fleet Vehicle Auctions & Repo Vehicle Auctions

Tips To Pinpointing The Vehicle Bargains

Although I had my eye on two upcoming fleet vehicle auctions, I couldn't pass us on the repo auction that was just days away!

First, I attended the pre-inspection, which usually occur two days prior to auction. Here, I could inspect all the vehicles thoroughly.

All sales there were as is so it was important that I made sure that the cars there met my criteria. Some were in great shape and others not so good.

There were lots of luxury cars but also lots of sedans. My focus was more on the sedans because most auction attendants were actually interested in the luxury cars.

I made sure that I had my Kelley Blue Book with me to see what sort of pricing to limit my bid at based on its condition and mileage.

So often people get so caught up in the auction frenzy at repo auctions and fleet vehicle auctions that they don't use a practical tool like a Kelley Blue Book to set limits on their bidding.

As a result, they end up paying close to what they would have paid for it at a dealership!

Now that I had my car in mind, I was ready to go for the auction in a couple of days....

Here's The Real Secret To Car Bargains At Auctions

Auction Day!

I showed up and my car was one of the first ones to be bid that afternoon....Amazingly! I snatched it up with no other bidders. I purchased a 2001 Bonneville with 40,000 miles for $4,000! Wow! What a steal!

This car would normally retail for $10,000! It was in excellent condition and now I could easily sell it below Suggested Retail Price at $8,000 and double my money!

Fast forward three weeks later....That's exactly what happened!

I never was able to have such a huge profit margin! And yet these fleet vehicle auctions and repo auctions were taking place all the time. I was hooked!

I wanted to find these auctions all the time but I hated doing the work to find them...

I then came across a great car auction website on the Internet where I could access tens of thousands of cars that were going to be auctioned over the next few weeks.

I no longer had to search constantly for repo and fleet vehicle auctions!

Best of all, most of the time I would go on to bid on cars that no one else bid on - That meant tremendous savings in my pocket!

I've been a member now for over a year and it's the best move I ever made.

Even if you are not looking to resell these cars, you will be able to pick up cars easily at 50 - 80% off retail!

Check it out and you'll see why I think it's the best source for purchasing vehicles today!
