New state of the art facility 

Paragon Flexibles new state of the art facility in Gainsborough is equipped to deliver industry leading products and service. Our production facilities include: Three 8 colour flexo presses, one with in-line pattern and total coating capability. Two coater laminators capable of both solvent and solvent free lamination. Full coating for antimist and in-register pattern coating. Flexible Film perforation technologies available are : Three punch systems, two laser systems,needle and gas flame. Side weld bag construction and two Prefix registered food label application lines.

Full artwork and reproduction capabilities 

Paragon Flexibles have full artwork and reproduction capabilities equipped and operable on a 24/7 basis. We have a design and conceptual sample creation service to support customer product presentation requirements.

Food science development centre 

The Paragon Flexibles Films food science development centre is equipped with our food packaging science application laboratory. The purpose of this facility is to measure food respiration rates so package permeability can be determined delivering optimal shelf life and product quality.

Paragon Flexible Film packaging science application laboratory provides the following unique food science service initiatives. Respirocomp MAP package design software for rapid and accurate package permeability determination. This is a market leading computer software iniative developed by us to expedite the flexible film optimisation process. Our project management process includes: Materials selection management. Process and food packaging line audits and technical assistance. Permeability determination by product and end use. Food Packaging materials specification analysis. In-plant trial management. Pilot plant evaluation of tray and lidding systems. Full shelf life testing and gas analysis capability. Product sensory evaluation. Microbiological testing. Real life condition respiration rate determination in our variable temperature control units and retail chiller units to replicate any time temperature protocol.
