Flicker Warriors

Strange things are in the air and under foot in the town of Flicker located within the tortured landscape of the scablands of central Washington State, U.S.A.

Melissa Remoth, young candle-reader, sees visions of a mysterious girl in blue, and a helluva lot of people are interested in the meaning behind it.

Magical powers long held by individual families for decades are suddenly mysteriously and inexplicably siphoned from the old generations to the new; the latter struggling, sometimes unsuccessfully, to control and contain them.

Dragons and chimera, unseen for literally thousands of years, are suddenly on the prowl again along with werewolves, vampires, diviners, necromancers, shape-shifters, witches, warlocks, tree-spirits, and the walking undead.

A secret within the confines of a nearby air-force base is possibly responsible -more likely not.

Internationally Best-Selling Author William Maltese, whose over 200-published books have entertained young and old for over four decades, in association with Candle Artist Jfay, provide this multi-volume tale, FLICKER: TEEN-WARRIOR SAGA, that chronicles the rise of one all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful teenage Master Magician, and the battles fought by magic (black and white), wielded by demons and beasts and humans, too, who all aspire to sit alone on the ultimate Demon's Throne.

This tale is being serialized by Maltese, pre-print 2010 publication, two installments a week, here on MySpace with accompanying artistic artwork by Jfay wondrously duplicating many of the magical wax-images key to the story-line.

This story, FLICKER: THE TEEN WARRIOR SAGA, is no exception.

I've been selected by popular consensus of all participants between the ages of twelve and nineteen. Those being the ages of warriors in the war presently being fought. Those, therefore, the only age groups that count.

As commissioned, I will provide, here, bi-weekly postings, every Monday and Thursday concerning activities from the battlefields. Because what has begun, and is now happening, and will continue to occur until it's as-yet unpredictable end, is truly unique in the annals of all history in the importance placed upon the shoulders of today's youth, be you on the side of good or evil.

Whatever the supernatural forces at work within and around these battles being waged, that have chosen to exclude those of us who have been counted upon as older and wiser in all other times, it's apparently not within any mortal's power to change those rules - only for you younger generation to do the best you can with the hands that have been dealt you.

God help you save and preserve humanity!
