Carry On Suitcases
When it comes to the subject of flight carry on luggage or a cabin suitcase, I pretty much consider myself an expert. You see, we live on an island and unless we travel by boat or outrigger canoe, we're taking an airplane. And because we dislike paying baggage fees, we carry on suitcases saving money and avoiding the crowds at baggage claim.
So if you're looking for bags to carry on a flight or want some great choices in a cabin suitcase, you're in the right place. As they say in the business......Come Fly With Me! :)

Suitcase Sizes
Choosing a Flight Carry On Cabin Suitcase
Tip: Figure the total linear inches of your cabin suitcase by measuring the height, width and depth of the bag and adding these three measurements together. This will give you the linear inches of your flight carry on. Anything larger should be checked.

Smart Packing - Flight Carry On Cabin Suitcase
"I am always looking for packing advice to further streamline my business & pleasure travel luggage. I end up referring to this book over and over again." Amazon review, E. Hamilton, June 9, 2011
"My problem is not over packing, but underpacking. (A friend once said I could go on a weekend trip with a baggie.) I always travel light, but then find I don't have what I need. My next trip will be different as I follow Susan's suggestions for a complete, yet still toteable, wardrobe. Thanks goodness...no more making-do, just looking great!" Amazon review, Bev B, Mar 6, 2011
Another Reason to Carry On a Cabin Suitcase
Do the baggage handlers throw bags? Uh....yes, they do. Read "Confessions of an Airline Baggage Thrower".

Which airline do you prefer to travel?
This question really has nothing to do with a cabin suitcase, but I was just curious. :)

- I'd love to fly Southwest, but it doesn't go to Wichita which is usually where I fly to see my family. Southwest doesn't charge for luggage. Since I can't use them, I just take very few clothes in my carry-on and then wash them once or twice during the visit.

- Oh, too, Pam, I just bought a new Samsonite under the seat bag which I absolutely love. You should add it to your lens: http://www.amazon.com/Samsonite-Xspace-21-5-Exp-Spinner/dp/B0053JXVEU/ref=pd_sbs_a_7

- I love jet blue since they removed a row of seats. It's much more comfortable.
