How do you feel about abstract art?
Many people don't like abstract art. I do! I like it because it surprises me, touches me, makes me smile or even laugh. I like it because there is no rule, no easy way to say what is good or bad art, and in the end I, the viewer, decide what I like. What is good for some is bad for others. If you are looking for certainties, stay away from museums. If you are interested by questions, even seemingly meaningless ones, and in the process of seeking answers, welcome to the world of abstract art :-)
Do you like abstract art?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand by:-( Nah, a 2-year-old could do the same!
:-) Yes, it's interesting/funny/weird/moving/beautiful and I love it!
Onlygreen says:
I think abstract art is the language of the soul. I paint in abstract with symbols. Seeing abstract artwork stimulates parts of my soul that are lost in the messages of the conventional world.
