The Flower Mousepad: A Campaign Against Drab

Ranked #13,422 in Arts & Design, #260,221 overall

A Flower Mousepad Can Bring Color to Your Day

Who says a mousepad should be drab and boring? I don't. A colorful mousepad, especially one with flowers, can brighten up any office or workspace. For those who love beautiful flowers, this page should present you with some nice options.

All of the mousepads available here are 9.25" x 7.75" in size. They stay in place with a non-slip backing and the image is protected by a cloth cover for long lasting beauty. You can order one, or order dozens, there's no minimum. If you don't find what you want, come back later, as I add more designs.

Sometimes Things Don't Work

If you don't see mousepads displaying beneath the descriptions, it means that things on the site are messed up! In that case, just click here to see all of the mousepads and accept my humble apologies.

Groovy Petals

The Groovy Petals flower mousepads are a simple design. The first features a bright yellow bloom, with a highly textured, muted orange and brown center all nestled among dense green foliage. It's a cheerful image that you can almost feel with it's deeply groved petals.

The second option is a pale, delicate yellow bloom and the third is a vivid red and yellow blanket flower which you can see below.

The images on these mousepads were captured in June 2009. Like all of the products shown on this page there is no minimum order required so whether you want one for yourself, or dozens for all of your co-workers, ordering is easy.

These designs are also offered on related products such as coffee mugs, keychains, greeting and post cards.

Lovely Lillies

The Lovely Lillies flower mousepad collection currently offers a number of designs, two of which are orange in color.

The first is a natural beauty. It's a shot of a roadside Tiger Lily in the countryside, off of a gravel road in central Indiana.Originally planted by land owners, these durable flowers have proliferated in many areas. They grow in large clusters alongside cornfields, beanfields, county roads and elsewhere. They tolerate heat, sun, and dry weather making them a dependable and pleasant sight throughout the summer.

The second offering is a brilliant orange, double bloom Daylily. The sunset illuminates the bloom and sets it aglow. There are few blooms that could match this one for vibrancy.

Both images were captured in July 2009. You will also find keychains, coffee mugs, postcards and greeting cards available with this design.

The Lovely Lillies collection has other daylily colors available as well. There are reds, pinks, purples, and more. These images were all collected in July 2009. Daylilies tolerate mid-summer sun and heat much more readily than other blooms and their colors are extremely vivid throughout the season.

There are a few of these flower mousepad samples below to browse, the image pictured on the right is only one example.

The Dancing Daisies collection features a cluster of daisies with their bright yellow "faces" turned up toward the sun. This photograph was also taken in rural Indiana in late May, 2009.

Spring Thyme

The Spring Thyme collection was created with a close up photograph of some thyme in bloom. The main bloom displays the lavendar/purple color of a fresh bloom with some of the border flowers showing the fade into a crimson color. The background is made up of the deep rich greens of the foliage. The image was captured in June 2009.

Three styles are offered; each with a different color border. The choices include a black, teal, or lavendar border. Each of these flower mousepads measures 9.25" x 7.75" and has a durable cloth cover to protect the image and a non-slip backing to assure the pad stays securely in place.

Other products with the Spring Thyme design are available as well. Blank greeting cards, keychains, coffee mugs, postcards, and more are also offered. You can view all of these by clicking on one of the images below.

Wild About Wildflowers

The Wild About Wildflowers collection offers a variety of naturally occurring blooms that are commonly seen in the rural midwest of the US. The collection currently features a simple white bloom on a bed of deep green foliage as it lays on the ground in an unplanted field.

The second option is a tiny cornflower blue bloom commonly found along the rural roads of the midwest. At first glance it looks too ordinary and unworthy of our attention, but upon further study it's soft coloring and intricate stamin and pistil portions create a lovely sight. A third choice displays a cluster of lavendar wildflowers shadowed by taller vegetation, another is a tiny purple wildflower in clear focus amongst some indistinct greenery, then a delcate purple wildflower with slender petals blowing in the breeze, and finally an explosion of yellow wildflowers in late summer field.
