When I was a little girl, my parents had an oil painting with a lot of different flowers mixed. They were in a vase and there was a butterfly among the flowers. I guess it influenced me more than I knew. I still love to paint flowers that are mixed. Some of them are not even growing at the same time in Sweden but that does not stop me:)
These flowers are just two of many I have done over the years.

Flowers and more flowers
I have been painting flowers for over 50 years
When I was a little girl I started to paint flowers on everything. In my school books and on every paper that I could get my hands on.I learned to paint on Wood the old fashion way when you mix your paint with egg and oil. But later I found that you can buy the paint ready to use. I started to paint on cutting boards and one summer I sold 74 of them with a motif like the one you see here.
