Spring Flowers Table Centerpiece Arrangement

Peonies & Mums!

This is a candle display centerpiece that I made to sell on eBay actually. This is a Spring theme with pink peonies along with pale yellow & white mums, and wild flowers. I also made couple of fences out of coffee stir sticks with a bird sitting on the fence. The whole arrangement is about 26cm x 35cm in size. Perfect to brighten up your home or for a Spring Wedding dinner display!

Pink and Yellow Peonies!

There's just something about peonies that said about Springs Springs Springs!
This centerpiece, about the same size as above, I made this one as part of my cousin's Baby's Shower. Spring time, new beginning, new life.
Similar flowers as above, only I use pink & yellow peonies along with wild flowers as fillers, with a candle jar in the center for candle table centerpiece. The pastel colors just enough to brighten up your home, but not enough to over power it. Again, it is great for a wedding table centerpiece display as well.

Spring Summer Table Centerpiece Arrangements

Floral Bike

I made this years ago for my mother in-law. I found this bicycle with a basket made out twig from Wal-Mart one year and I thought it was perfect to make an arrangement out if it. And it did! The bicycle is actually quite large, about 2ft long. It is great for a large low coffee table display (which that's where she had it). I actually found a similar bicycles designs that same year only they are about half that size. And that's what I used for my own Wedding reception displays, and everyone loved them! Unfortunately I don't have picture for them since it was so long ago. So that would be some ideas for you if you looking for something different for your own Wedding table display.

Tall candle centerpiece

I got this urge to make something one day, and this is what I ended up with. A tall candle Spring/Summer theme table centerpiece, and gave it to my husband's co-worker that same day just because she drove him home. lol
The candle is a 8" tall candle, section off by wooden fences. The arrangement is about 14" x 18" in size. Peonies, sunflowers and roses are the main flowers. It certainly makes a lovely centerpiece for dinner table for any occasion.

Summer Candle Table Arrangement

This is a candle centerpiece I kept for myself. It is mainly Summer theme with sunflowers, daisies and wild flowers. I really love the wooden fence idea with a bird sitting on it. It really does looks great on an arrangement with birds in it. This arrangement is about the size of your average cake stand. Although I took the picture with it flat on the table, but I normally display it on top of my glass cake stand, and it looks beautiful on top of there, fit perfectly in there too, not that I plan it that way initially. lol

Yellow Summer!

This is another candle table centerpiece that I made to sell on eBay. This is pretty much pure summer theme for yellow lover. Sunflowers with yellow cone flowers, mix in a bit of orange berries, white & pastel wild flowers for a bit of contrast. Here I really played with the wooden fence idea not just to make it into a fence to section the glass jar off from the flowers, but also to give it a unique design to the arrangement. This centerpiece is 25cm x 37cm in size.

Fall Table Centerpiece Arrangement

Thanksgiving Fruit Centerpiece Arrangement

I found a set of 3 hanging tealight candle holder from a store's clearance stance. It was such a good deal I couldn't resist. lol And it's just happen that Thanksgiving was coming that year. So I figured I could try to come with sort of arrangement to bring for my cousin's dinner party. So I ended up with the idea of having an arrangement made of out real fruit. I mean why not? It would look great ( I knew it would anyways. lol) and guests can have them for desert.
So I bought assort fruits, oranges, bananas, apples, and grapes. I put the candle hold in the center of a wooden plate, lay down some fall leaves. (remember, if you're using fresh fall leaves, make sure you wash them well and dry them with paper towel) Next I arrange the fruits I wanted, then I added some flowers here and there in between holes, and there you have it. A fabulous fruit table centerpiece arrangement for everyone to enjoy for the entire evening.

Bundle of Wheat!

This is actually one of the 14 table centerpieces I made for a friend's wedding one year. It was a Fall wedding in Oct. The arrangement is about 15" high x 12" wide. It is everything the Bride and Groom have asked for, a wheat bundle in the center for height, and Fall color theme.

Gourd Candle Holder

Grocery store sometimes carry really interesting items in the general merchandise section sometimes. This for example, it is a gourd shape candle holder. It came in a pumpkin shape as well, but I already made the arrangement and gave it away without taking a picture...
This candle holder is 7" x 8" with a tealight inside that gives a soft glow, and the arrangement is about 1ft in diameter. Great for Fall theme display anywhere at the house through out the reason. And also great to display at any type of function gatherings.

Glass Jar Table Centerpiece

Bowl centerpiece

This is another table centerpiece I made for my mother in-law. This is a 1ft wide really thick glass bowl that I imagine most would probably use it as a fish bowl. But I feel that it has such enormous space in between that I can use it for a flower arrangement instead. So I did. With some rocks at the bottom, I fill in purple roses with yellow orchids, orange berries and white flowers in the space between the bowl to make this glass bowl centerpiece arrangement.

Set of 3 Flowing Candle Arrangement

This is a set of 3 flowing candle arrangement as table centerpiece for a wedding's guest signing book table for my cousin's wedding. Since they are glass bowl with space in between, I thought I can make use of them as table centerpiece and spice them up with flowers inside them. My cousin wanted something for the guest signing table and main flowers in the bridal bouquets are purple roses, yellow orchids and red berries, so that's what I use mainly. It set a romantic mood for the wedding for all the guests right at the entrance, and everyone loved it. So what are you having for your guest signing book?

Long Candle Table Centerpiece Arrangement

You'll find the same wave shape candle centerpiece in the next few pictures. I love this candle centerpiece that I have, because depending on the theme or the occasion, I can change the flowers around it and still have a fabulous display for the centerpiece. I've reuse this candle centerpiece for number of weddings now. And this is one of them. This is for my cousin's wedding, the cake table centerpiece display.

This was actually a draft idea for my cousin's wedding cake table centerpiece display. They picked the other one above over this one.

Fall theme.

This one is for that friend of mine who had their wedding in Oct. They wanted a more simple, but still elegant long pieces of candle arrangement displays at the head tables. I made 3 of these for them.

Another Fall Wedding.

This was done for another Fall wedding head table center actually. This one however is for the purpose of displaying at the edge of the table, because the candle holder is dangling with long strands of fall leaves on it so that it'll hang over the edge of the table. And in the middle, I made a big white fluffy bow to go along with it.

This is what the other side looks like facing the wedding party. I use a lot of orange and yellow color because that's the color the bride wanted since it was a Fall wedding in Nov. Tall Vase Arrangement Centerpiece.

These 2 tall vases centerpieces were done for my cousin's wedding. They wanted something tall to stand out at the dessert table. Both arrangements stood about 2.5 feet tall.

Slim glass vase arrangement with flameless tealight.

This floral arrangement is done on a small foam ball that sits on top of a slim glass vase. The main idea I have with this arrangement is so that I could have flameless tealight sitting inside the vase glowing for any evening occasion. This is a great centerpice idea with the flameless tealight that you can use what ever flowers or colours for the arrangement depending on the occasion. Here I use lavender flowers, white wild flowers, small yellow daisies, and ivy for trailing. This combo is ideal for any summer occasion, especially for summer wedding!

Memorable & Unique Centerpiece Idea.

So here's the story... I found out my husband's boss is getting marry this summer (2010). So I was bugging them if they would like me do make some sort of flower arrangements for them. And his fiancee came up to me and said sort of out of joke: " not of you have any bright ideas to make some sort of table centerpiece out a bunch of old pictures. lol". And she got me thinking for a few days, and it came to me, why not make them into a stacking lantern shape with a burst of floral coming down from the top for a grant display. Or another option is to have flameless candle inside of them to actually make them into a lantern if you having a dinner reception. And they actually love the idea! So I'll making the centerpieces out of their old photos for them for their wedding this summer.

The more I thought about it, the more I love their idea of making old photos into centerpieces to share your memories with your friends and family and other wedding guests at your wedding day! So think about it, how you can make your own wedding a memorable one for yourself and for your guests.

(PS. this arrangement is only a demo that I make to show them idea so that they can see what it looks like, and was done out of my old photos. I'll post the real work I'll be doing for the actual wedding later on when it does happen. So do check back again in a few months.)

Update on the arrangement.

So it's been a few months and already had the wedding during late August. This is what I ended up making for them for the wedding. (above is the actual picture from the wedding) This is the guest table centerpiece for the their wedding, 11 guest tables all together. The bride requested to have cranberry color in the floral design, other then that, they left everything else up to me to decide. So I made sure all the arrangements that I made for them all contain deep red wild roses, mix in with all sort of summer flowers.

The arrangement is simple and basic idea. 2 stacks high of square shape photographs, with a glass jar inside that contain a flameless candle inside. Flower arrangement sits on top of the jar just peak through the photographs to give that burst of flowers coming from the top, and the whole thing sits on top of 12"x12" square mirror to reflect the arrangement on. Just before the dinner started, we went around and turn on those flameless candle inside the jar. It looks really good with a glow of light coming through the photographs.

Head Table Centerpiece- Original idea

I was under the impression that all centerpieces are going to be photographs based, including the 2 head table centerpieces. So I made a large ball of flower arrangement to sits on a tall vase with photos surrounding them on the 12"x12" mirror. I also include a flameless candle inside the base of the vase as well.

But after they actually saw the arrangements and compared the ideas, they decided not to have the photo for the head table centerpieces. And so the picture below is the actual centerpiece they had for their wedding.

The actual head table centerpiece, 2 of them, for the wedding. A burst of ball of flowers sitting on tall glass vase with mirror at the bottom. Also a flameless candle inside the vase that lights up during the dinner. Looks really nice with the flameless candle glowing inside the vase.
