I'll have to admit, you look different than I envisioned. For some reason I thought you were a brunette. lol!!! That is probably true about a lot of us who use an avatar instead of a picture. Great lens. It tells a lot about you. Blessed by a Squid Angel.

You have a great garden, I was just browsing and found your site. My flower gar den at the front of my house had a lot of the same flower that you have. Used to because someone sprayed my yard and everything except my varigated Beech died, even my little cherry tree. I did get a ton of cherries from it before it started dying. Needless to say I threw out all the cherries for safety. It took me about 12 years to get things the way I wanted it, now I have to start out again. Like you I am also handicapped, as I have Lupus and am now to where I work for about 20 min. and rest for 10. No longer can I do the heavy digging, so my oldest son who lives with me does the digging and I do the rest. I am 67 and retired so I more time to work on the garden but less money, darn it. When we moved in here no one in the neighborhood had any trees or flower, but thing have got a lot better and most have flowers. Many of them have stopped by in the last few months and asked me what happened to my yard and according to the Penn State Agricultural Dpt. the samples I gave them told me Clorox. It was so bad at one point that I started finding fliers from different yard care services. Two strips of the yard now have annual flowers that I have seeded so it is a start. But so far the rest of the yard is dead and barren except for nasty weeds. So I am working on it.
    Thanks for the inspiration.

Some time ago I saw on your website a list of flowers with their given names matched to their Biblical name. (At least I think it was yours.) I'm a writer and one of my characters was going to be a gardner who talked of her Biblically named flowers. These are the 3 I remember: Black Eyed Susan is Golden Jerusalem. Honeysuckle is Our Lady’s Fingers. Purple Iris is Swords of Sorrow. I'd appreciate a list of others if you have any. Thanks in advance.

Oh hon, I'm glad this page could help you. I put a flower pic up above for you. It took me a long time to heal from my divorce, and I suppose I should say that the situation still effects me to this day, as I never remarried & looking back it's because I just cannot open myself up enough to trust & give again, like I did with my husband.
You'll make it.....in your own way, and in your own time. Don't let anyone pressure & put a timeline on how they think you should be feeling. It's time for you to get into yourself, discover who you are, and heal your feelings the way that only you know how to do.
You ARE worthy of a better life! You ARE worthy of respect. You ARE worthy of peace and happiness. Don't let 1 man's opinion of you affect the rest of your life.....because now YOU are the captain of your destiny & you can accomplish anything you desire.
    Gods Love and mine Debbie,
    Deb

I WAS FEELING REALLY LOW...JUST LOOKING FOR A SITE TO LOOK AT FLOWERS THAT AS ADDICTED TO PLANTING BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS AS I AM, FEEL LIKE I MAY NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN. I JUST GOT DIVORCED, IT HAS BEEN HORRIBLE. THE STALKING, BAD CALLS, ETC...I FELT LIKE I WAS LOSING MY WILL TO LIVE AND MY FAITH THAT THERE EVEN IS A GOD LOOKING OUT FOR ME...YOUR FLOWERS AND PERSPECTIVE ON LIFE IS WONDERFUL. I HOPE MINE COMES BACK. I AM PRESENTLY LIVING IN A HOUSE THAT I RARELY EVEN GO OUTSIDE. I LEFT EVERYTHING INCLUDING A 1 ACRE GARDEN THAT WAS MY PRIDE AND JOY. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN DUE TO SETTLEMENT TWO MORTGAGES AND TWO SETS OF BILLS THAT I DON'T EVEN BEGIN TO KNOW HOW I WILL PAY. LOOKING AT ALL YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED I HOPE WILL GIVE ME A LITTLE MORE STRENGTH..BLESS YOU

Actually, I really didn't know much of anything about you until I read this, other than what I could glean from your other lenses on various topics. Thanks so much for sharing and being so open. And, uh, I'd say your baby boy grew up! What a handsome man. Well, you've certainly been through a lot. You're one strong lady. Not to mention, you make some awesome lenses. I love your lens, your sharing -- your hair is beautiful. I have two sons-one is a redhead-not as red as when he was young. Rheumatic fever seemed so romantic to me when I was 9 or 10 because I had a lot of hard work. I don't like to hunting any more; maybe I could fish again. You are a bright shining star after all you have endured -- I couldn't be as brave as you to share it all.

  • Rx Aid Apr 17, 2008 @ 1:22 pm | delete
Patient Prescription Assistance Programs or Patient Assistance Programs (PAP's) are programs offered by major pharmaceutical companies which disburse prescription drugs in the United States. In essence, these programs offer free brand name drugs to people who do not have adequate healthcare coverage. Each PAP has its own set of policies and guidelines for the free prescription drugs, i.e. Merck and Pfizer each have separate distinct plans. Because each pharmaceutical company has different procedures for acceptance, it is extremely difficult for the average American citizen to complete the required paperwork with a high degree of accuracy. Because of the 'paperwork hassle,' many American citizens fail to qualify for the medication. That is where Rx Aid, Inc. becomes involved.

What a monster catfish your son caught! That takes some real strength getting a monster like that out of the water with just your bare hands. 5*

So glad you liked the flower on my "Who is Sherry" lens! My camera (then) was 4.1 Megapixel Kodak Easy Share. I am now using a Nikon CoolPix P5100 3.5x Optical Zoom 12 Megapixel Digital Camera. The new camera is great but it is really more than I can utilize!

You some really wonderful lens. Don't think I'll ever get 50 lens but...you never know.

Hi~ I've been reading some of your great lenses! It is nice to get to know the "humans" behind all those lenses.(I still need to make my own lensography). I'm still learning my way around computers, never mind lenses. I had a dog. An Old English Sheepdog. My beloved Tobie passed away in November. She was my best friend. Check out my lens on animals. I also am christian and love flower & veggie gardening. Check out my seed and supply catalogs lens and my one on Jesus. I have 30 lenses so far. My teen-age son has more than 100 and my grown daughter has 225! I'll never catch up.

Hi THere! I took a moment to check out what you have been doing here. It's GREAT! Since I am just getting started I had no idea that you could create so many.I like the idea that you can earn $$$ on your lens. I need to study more on that to come up with some good ideas. That would be great to pay part of the mortgage each month.
