A feast of flowers
Ranked #15,518 in Home & Garden, #216,987 overall
My own photos of flowers
I have used many flower pictures in my lenses and I thought it would be fun to have a feast of them altogether. Flowers are wonderful in their variety of shape and colour but their time with us is short before they wither and die. Happily they will burst out again to delight us next year.
Some from my garden
I photograph them anywhere I can

Where do I find my flowers?
Some flowers I find in my garden. I do not like gardening so how do I cope? I live in a small complex of flats and the gardens are communal and there is a gardener. I am so fortunate in this. The honeysuckle, hebe, buddleia and roses in the pictures above are from this garden. The French marigolds are from a flower bed in the nearby town. The petunias are from a cafe window box. I am shy of taking photos of people's flower gardens if it is right outside their window, but I do look longingly at them. Grasses
You can find beauty where you least expect it. You might think grass is just grass, long and green, but just look at those lovely fluffy flowers on the grass below. It may not be flambouyant as many flowers are but it is spectacular in its own way. It is also pleasant to the eye to see a large green field. Each thing has its place. You may not be flambouyant but maybe your steady dependability makes life pleasant for someone in your life. A thing of beauty is a joy forever

- The 'Other' in my vote in the polls goes for 'All of the above!' :))
A single flower can make a day... a bouquet for a season and a garden has its reason! :)
Cheers!
