Plants and Flowers From My Garden
For most of my of my life I lived in London. The area where I lived was getting more and more crowded and beginning to feel alien to me. I was feeling so suffocated. Then 2 years ago I moved to the beautiful countryside of Suffolk. I now have a lovely garden with many beautiful plants and flowers, birds and the occasional squirrel and hedgehog.
Years ago before the area where I live was build on, it was sand dunes and a haven for wild birds. Today there are still many bird around and my garden is always full of bird song.
Every day I feel blessed to have such a beautiful garden, so peaceful and tranquil. Me and my partner love photography and I want to share some of the lovely photos we have taken. Some times I find it hard to believe I live here - just how lucky can I be?

Magic Tomato
The First Tomato Grown In Our Garden

When I picked our first home grown tomato I could feel it vibrate in my hand. It was a poignant moment because my partner was away from home on a training course at the time. It was the first time we had been apart since we had been living together . I wanted to wait for him to get back to pick our first tomato but he said I must pick it on a particular day. He also said I must eat it too. After I picked it I held it in my hand and felt it vibrate.
I took a photo of me eating the tomato with my camera phone and sent the photo to my partner just for a laugh. He said his phone went off in the middle of a lecture - whoops! lol.

Such beautiful flowers. So fleetingly lovely one day - faded away a couple of days later.
Thick Snow In My Garden

This December we had some very thick snow where I live and all my beautiful plants and flowers were covered with snow. It's the first time we have had heavy snow since I have lived here. It looked lovely and picturesque but was very hazardous to walk in when it got icy and slippery.

- Gorgeous pictures, Maz. Your garden has to be truly beautiful; wish you'd included an 'overall' view, too. It would be nice to visualize you and Richard sitting outside enjoying a cool something. :)
