Beautiful Plants and Flowers From My Garden

I love this photo and the way you can see the water drops on the daisies.

Fuchsias are one of my favourite flowers, so many different varieties to choose from.

When I picked our first home grown tomato I could feel it vibrate in my hand. It was a poignant moment because my partner was away from home on a training course at the time. It was the first time we had been apart since we had been living together . I wanted to wait for him to get back to pick our first tomato but he said I must pick it on a particular day. He also said I must eat it too. After I picked it I held it in my hand and felt it vibrate.

I took a photo of me eating the tomato with my camera phone and sent the photo to my partner just for a laugh. He said his phone went off in the middle of a lecture - whoops! lol.

The Crab Apple Tree in my garden just beginning to flower.

The blossom from our crab apple tree looked so beautiful. I am grateful for the photos we took because a few days later they were gone, all scattered in the wind.

I have lots of these pretty pinks Iris flowers in my garden and also some lovely mauve ones too.

I like to try and take photos from a different angle and close up. Not always successful but I am pleased with this one.

This rose bush looked particularly lovely this year so I couldn't resist adding another rose photo.

Ok this is not my garden! Just wanted to make sure you were paying attention! This is me feeding the ducks at our local park.

My partner loves taking photos of insects and will spend hours trying to get that "perfect" picture. I think that bees must be one of his his favourite insects!

I don't know the name of these yellow flowers but they looked so lovely.

This cactus grows out of the one of the low walls in my garden and always looks very pretty and unusual.

I have now found out the name of this strange red flower. It is called a Bottlebrush Plant (Callistemon rigidus) and it comes from Australia

Such beautiful flowers. So fleetingly lovely one day - faded away a couple of days later.

This year we decided to grow some sunflowers in the garden. We didn't have much room so we planted them in a big flower pot. They were not as big as we would have liked but still looked lovely. Next year we will make some room in the garden and hopefully they will grow much bigger.

The Primroses look particularly lovely in my garden this year.

Last year we bought a beautiful mauve Clematis for our garden. I have never been lucky with Clematis plants but my partner has the green fingers and this year thanks to his nursing and watering, it has done really well and the flowers are so big and lovely.

This December we had some very thick snow where I live and all my beautiful plants and flowers were covered with snow. It's the first time we have had heavy snow since I have lived here. It looked lovely and picturesque but was very hazardous to walk in when it got icy and slippery.

Yes you've guessed - this is not my garden lol! This was actually taken on the Norfolk Broads and I just wanted to share it with you.
