Fluoride poisoning - are you concerned?
Nobody wants to think they've been poisoned by fluoride. The first reaction of many is to reject the information. I heard about this years ago but managed to block the information - a common first reaction to hearing our water supply could be dangerous. If you're like me, you probably don't want to think our government (USA) could be systematically poisoning us intentionally. I still have a major problem with that idea. Let's call it denial.
Lots of people on the internet are concerned about this. Articles, videos, suffering people... it's all right here for study and perusal. If you haven't researched this yet, perhaps now is a good time. You may be exposing yourself and family members to fluoride in ways you don't suspect.
Approximately 66 percent of the USA has fluoridated public water and some bottled water is fluoridated as well. Only 2 percent of western Europe has public water fluoridation (mostly in the UK) and it has been reported that their children have teeth that are as healthy as those of children in the USA.
An example of bottled fluoridated water: Nursery Water - for babies. This is a purified water with fluoride added. This company claims that fluoride is perfectly safe, and even beneficial. They say it is approved by the American Dental Association, the United States Food and Drug Administration, the United States Public Health Department, and even the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Those complaining about fluoridated water say that fluoride is used in rat poison and other insecticides. They say it is a toxic by-product of industries such as the aluminum industry, phosphate fertilizer manufacturers, and others, and that rather than disposing of fluoride toxic waste, these industries are selling fluoride to the government to be put into our water.
So who is right? The citizens and doctors and dentists who warn against fluoride on websites and YouTube, or governmental and other agencies? Is it true that fluoride is an active ingredient in rat poison? Does your toothpaste tube really have a fluoride warning label on it? (Mine doesn't because I've been using fluoride-free natural toothpaste for a long time now.)
On top of all the other charges, anti-fluoridation activists say that sodium fluoride was first added to water by Hitler as it helped keep prisoners under control.
There's natural fluoride in most waters already, but our government adds the chemical fluoride from industrial waste. Fluoridation is intended to balance the amount of fluoride in the public water systems.
If you're trying to avoid fluoride, be aware that it is probably present in bottled and canned drinks, such as soft drinks, beers, even health-food and energy drinks when those drinks are manufactured in areas where there's fluoride in the public water system.
One more thing to be aware of - fluoride may be absorbed through the skin while bathing. You might want to look into getting a water purification unit for your shower head if you live in an area where the public water system contains fluoride.

In an unprecedented admission, the US government now says there's "too much" fluoride in our water. An ABC News article published January 7, 2011 states,
"In a remarkable turnabout, federal health officials say many Americans are now getting too much fluoride because of its presence not just in drinking water but in toothpaste, mouthwash and other products, and it's causing splotches on children's teeth and perhaps more serious problems. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced plans Friday to lower the recommended level of fluoride in drinking water for the first time in nearly 50 years, based on a fresh review of the science."

This is definitely a step in the right direction! How unusual! How needed!
Fluoride poisoning - what are the harmful effects?
It causes a condition of the teeth called dental fluorosis. Although fluoride proponents claim fluoride protects teeth from tooth decay, it actually damages them. In western Europe where fluoridated water was rejected, children's dental health is just as good as here in the USA.
Perhaps the most interesting side effect, it is said that fluoride affects a section of the brain that regulates our reactions to stressful circumstances, making human beings easier to control. This results in a docile population that might otherwise fight against injustice and oppression. This is why Hitler used it on concentration camp prisoners.

When I was a child in the 1950s, all toothpaste was fluoride-free. When fluoridation started a few years later, a few toothpaste manufacturers started including fluoride in their formulas. We used Crest, and that was one of the last of the major-brand toothpastes to cave in and start using fluoride.

If you are worried about fluoride, you should also worry about using plastics, teflon, canned items, lotions/baby oils, etc. Basically, It's all dangerous. Maybe those of you who freak over these things should just go live off the land on a farm. That's the only way to prevent most of these poisons from coming in contact with you and your family.

I have known this is poison for over 20 years already. It is so fantastic and hard to believe our government woyld knowingly allow this, that I did not want to believe it. But 20 years ago when the baby doctor gave my one year old daughter additional fluoride that we were supposed to give her daily, I refused. I told my wife and she laughed at me and refused to listen because the doctor prescribed it. I secretly poured the fluoride down the drain and filled the bottle with tea. She had her daily dose of tea, but I could not keep fluoride out of her tooth paste. I had a bad feeling way back then and I tried to tell people, but they only laughed at me. Now people have stopped laughing, and have begun to take a hard look at our trusted politicians.

Another study in China where one town over another proved no difference in the amount of cavity excecpt the one with floridated water had a lower IQ. I am suffering from Fluoride Exhaustion which worsened almost immediately after moving to another water supply, which I discovered through quick searches on the net, has double the fluoride content tested in the water. Now, I have to "chose" to purchase an expensive water filter. Who pays you to say this crap?

You have to be an educated and aware consumer. If I knew then that fluoride was the base, I never would have taken that antibiotic. I mean come on, fluoride to help an infection, ridicuous. Why not? It kills everything including bacteria... and people. Sorry this post is so long but it is a huge part of my life now so I have alot to say about about the subject.
