Fluoride Poisoning: Is Our Government Poisoning Us?

Nobody wants to think they've been poisoned. The first reaction of many is to reject the information. I heard about this years ago but managed to block the information - a common first reaction to hearing our water supply could be dangerous. If you're like me, you probably don't want to think our government (USA) could be systematically poisoning us intentionally. I still have a major problem with that idea. Let's call it denial.

Lots of people on the internet are concerned about this. Articles, videos, suffering people... it's all right here for study and perusal. If you haven't researched this yet, perhaps now is a good time. You may be exposing yourself and family members to fluoride in ways you don't suspect.

Approximately 66 percent of the USA has fluoridated public water and some bottled water is fluoridated as well. Only 2 percent of western Europe has public water fluoridation (mostly in the UK) and it has been reported that their children have teeth that are as healthy as those of children in the USA.

An example of bottled fluoridated water: Nursery Water - for babies. This is a purified water with fluoride added. This company claims that fluoride is perfectly safe, and even beneficial. They say it is approved by the American Dental Association, the United States Food and Drug Administration, the United States Public Health Department, and even the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Those complaining about fluoridated water say that fluoride is used in rat poison and other insecticides. They say it is a toxic by-product of industries such as the aluminum industry, phosphate fertilizer manufacturers, and others, and that rather than disposing of fluoride toxic waste, these industries are selling fluoride to the government to be put into our water.

So who is right? The citizens and doctors and dentists who warn against fluoride on websites and YouTube, or governmental and other agencies? Is it true that fluoride is an active ingredient in rat poison? Does your toothpaste tube really have a fluoride warning label on it? (Mine doesn't because I've been using fluoride-free natural toothpaste for a long time now.)

On top of all the other charges, anti-fluoridation activists say that sodium fluoride was first added to water by Hitler as it helped keep prisoners under control.

There's natural fluoride in most waters already, but our government adds the chemical fluoride from industrial waste. Fluoridation is intended to balance the amount of fluoride in the public water systems.

If you're trying to avoid fluoride, be aware that it is probably present in bottled and canned drinks, such as soft drinks, beers, even health-food and energy drinks when those drinks are manufactured in areas where there's fluoride in the public water system.

One more thing to be aware of - fluoride may be absorbed through the skin while bathing. You might want to look into getting a water purification unit for your shower head if you live in an area where the public water system contains fluoride.
